The trouble is, there hasn't been a liberal in the white house since Carter. The bar has been set so low, that anyone who isn't President Bush seems Liberal.
I heard an interview with Dr. Charles Dunn who said Clinton was ran as hard left, but governed as center - left. The guys responsible for NAFTA, CAFTA and dadt is center left? He then said Reagen was center right. The fact is Clinton was center right, Reagen hard right, and Bush Extreme right.

That's just not true. If someone ran on Reagan's policies today they would be viewed as to far to get the nomination of either party. That's why the current president who is to the right of Reagan on is viewed as "extremely left".
If Obama is right of Reagan, then that would make Reagan a member of the very extreme left.
The trouble is that the perceived center has moved so far in the past 30 years, that was once center right, is now extremely left wing.

@17R3W I was 13. I got to see Russians in long lines just to get a loaf of bread while Reagan out spent them into oblivion in the arms race. I got to see pride and prosperity come back to America after Carter shit on it. I got to see my parents pay less taxes. I got to see the rest of the world look at America as a land of power and security. What do we have now? A bunch of pinko pussies feeding the brain dead masses what they think is better for them. And the dumb assholes eat it up.

"I got to see my parents pay less taxes." Obama ran on tax cuts, and even continued the Bush tax cuts.
"Reagan out spent them into oblivion in the arms race" Obama also increased military spending.
It's pretty much the same policies, but 30 years later, it's seen as Liberal. It's the countries view that have shifted.

@17R3W So cutting the military budget 78 Billion dollars is a actual increase? You may want to investigate what John Boehner says about obama's tax increase plans. I sure am glad my taxes I paid this year go to groups like ACORN, Planned Parenthood, and unions. I also bought crack cocaine. Well not really, But the welfare case that squirts out a baby for and extra $1,600 a month sure likes it.

@17R3W Liberals only own defeat when a Republican is in office. They are more than happy then to demoralize troops, attempt to defund their efforts and generally try to undermine the mission however they can. That way the Republican looks bad. However they aren't about to do the same thing when one of their own is in office. Suddenly "illegal", "immoral" wars are justified. Places like Club Gitmo suddenly become a necessary evil.

I really like this show, but it seems that they always have to fit in some crude joke, which kills it for me. The last joke was totally unnecessary and wasn't even funny. You do great with the political jokes -- stick to that subject.

(whatever the hell that means), but Obama did exactly what he criticized Bush for... Troop surge, the got involved in Libya without congressional approval. Can't say the same about that asshole Bush.
