I was driving when it came down. I was on my way home when it came down real hard. That was not the worst bit of the storm. It got so bad I was about a K from home it took me about 30 mins to get home. I could only see about 3-4 meters ahead of me! Any moment my wind screen could smash (thank god it didn`t!).
Glad to hear the eastern suburbs seem to have been spared, have just heard though that Fiorrest Rd near Armadale is closed. Any Eastern suburbs people have any news, can you post please, it's all the western suburbs people doing their usual whining.
New forecast is for a storm, but not severe this morning. A time to help neighbours and friends if you can.
I think that Ocean Reef/Craigie area, Osborne Park and Nedlands were the worst 'hail' affected areas. but everyone got rain- floods that is!- and power out was widspread too.
soon find out... it's being assessed now. every panel except one was damages and the windscreen smashed. plastic bits near the windscreen also smashed.... :O
