Rep Carter, thanks for this effort to tell Congress that they need to obey laws in the same way as other citizens. This principle was one of the best parts of the Contract with America, and it is too easily forgotten.

For me, this shows about everthing i don't like (i could use another word..) about america. is this a real show, or is this a joke? if this was some colbertreport-esque satire ...ok..., but i understand that this is an actual opinionated news-show. Carter's 100% correct. He's a fine conservative, I'm proud he's my Congressman. Rangel's a gravel-necked crook.

Rangel being a bad guy does not make Carter a good one--or take Beck out of double-digit I.Q. status. All three of these guys fit into the same box--they are taking advantage of people's frustration with a broken system. All the while they continue to break it even more. All three need to take a hike.

Listening to John Carter speak on ethics is like taking Bill Clinton seriously were he to be speaking on sexual propriety.

Carter supports circumventing state law and U.S. Constitution with imprisoning non-criminal immigrants who are simply waiting for their asylum applications to be processed, with huge profit to a prison corporation with a horrid record. This is not about open borders but gross misuse of tax dollars. John has no room to expound on right and wrong. His hands are dirty.
