I was searching for this song and found this video. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy watching a bunch of cloggers as much as I did. That was GREAT! Thanksso much for the fun vid.
Steve Smith!! Is he still teaching? He used to come up to Ohio and teach back in the late 80s-early 90s. I have a vid of him doing Looking Out The Back Door by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Him and Sally....I forget her last name.
cool, my friend tj sent me this vid, was pretty cool for dancing, im usually not into this kinda stuff but yeah it was cool and was the announcer guy in the background like pre recorded? or just a guy saying "ANGEL!", "2 BASICS" and all that jazz? just wondring
Thanks! That is a (live) instructor cueing the steps so that the dancers who don't know the routine can follow along. This is done at many clogging workshop fun dances to encourage maximum dancer participation. You can get a better idea of this by taking a look at my "Mountain Music" video (shows me on stage cueing as well as the crowd dancing).
Excellent! Those 2 at the front can move! The style has a lot of characteristics of the dance steps of what is known over here (UK), as "northern soul" music.
u r great..I have this on my favorites list..Best clogging to a great oldie...

This is a classic! We were doing it back in the late 80s early 90s! So glad it is still taught.

This music is only about 10,000 times better than country music!
