I hear the minor differences. This version was prepared in studio prior to the what would be played at the MTV Awards. It can also be found on the Vogue single cassette from 1990. This is not the performance from the MTV awards though, just the version used for that performance.

it's apparent now to me...great production related to the song, madonna's voice, a little bit weak...heck she's made a career of it though...back up singers help add some depth and little tweaking of madonna's voice in certain sections even allow her voice to have some depth as well.

@luissolify This is the studio version that played during the performance. The noise of the fans was live. (She lip synced the rest bc she was effing dressed like Marie Antoinette)
