Wow, everything you went through that was shown in this video happened to me too. I remember in gym class in elementary school, the teacher yelled at me for not saying "hike" and made me sit out in the hallway
Public speaking class helped me a lot b/c it was structured, not social, and ended in an hour! It was hard, only tears and squeaks came out at first. I told the teacher ahead of time what I was dealing with and she let me read from my desk, behind a book, standing at my desk, in front of the class turned around, then facing the class. It gave me a lot of practice and I was determined to defeat it no matter what embarrassment, anxiety, or tears it cost me! now you just tryyyy to shut me up.
Yes I was exactly like this, too. It was so sad, to see people with sm. I would like to help them, but I can't. I have sm, too. Now I'm 20 years old. It was hard to broke a hole through the wall. My biggest wish is to live without this disorder.
i was exactly like this as a child too, i still kinda am and im 17 now. i hate having sm but its not as bad now. now ive seen this video i dont feel as alone or 'strange' anymore- thank you so much =]
