@MrSoulcorrupter It's sad, but unfortunately for you (I'm assuming you're a normal, law abiding person who happens to be a muslim) the reason you get a bad reception in this country is because of the morons who destroy your religion's image with extremism. When someone says "muslim", people don't think of nice old Dave the mechanic who lives down the road and goes to Mosque, they think of a bloke in a tunic, with a big beard preaching hate to people while trying to blow himself up. @007RoyalFlush Hahahhahahaha that is so very true. Its - in my opinion - the mainstream media whom distort the image of Islam. No law against what you guys were doing i don't even need to look it up. Common sense tells me theres no law against it. If in the unlikely situation there was a law against it then common sense tells me that law is likely to be a statute and needs to be given the time of day it deserves. Which is Zero
These guys are confusing the common law power that is Breah of the Peace and the Statue Pace power that is section 5 of public order... 2 totally different things that these guys clearly don't really understand.
if any member of the public is distressed or alarmed .then they have to remove themselves from the situation ,for example if you film sombody that says they dont wan t to be filmed then they have to move away from the camera .if the person with the camera follows the person and continues to film then that is causing alarm and distress ,but not people ,who shout the cameraman has to stop filing when the complainer has not removed themselves from the situation...good luck ..everything is o.k
@steelchampion Freedom of speech is only allowed if it's not breaking the law remember that! There are certain laws in this country which coincide with 'free speech' so you need to be careful on what's being said and this person would've most definiteley broke the law shouting through that microphone!
The same evil group that was behind the germans being deceited, is at work in every single country in the world. They use the police, certain groups of people, and even their most favorite, our children, as tools! She says that she wouldn't uphold a nazi-like regime, but isn't that what the police state is becoming?
drink leads 2 trying other drugs not dope. and drink should be a class A if you have 2 class drugs it kills loads of people. all so think you love police r grate. would like 2 meet them one day peace and love
It's a waste of time talking to a pig....They are mainly uneducated idiotic thugs who are only brave when in a group with their weapon......COWARDS!!!
Great vid guys, some very important questions asked. I hope the police, who acted as the police should do which was lovely to see, will think about what was said and discuss with their colleagues. This is a really good way of raising awareness of issues, keep it up ;)
Danny is a genius and quite remarkable. I do enjoy him very much. Thank you for the great video post. To say this is a waste of Police time is wrong when you think of all the people who will see this video and hopefully become more educated about laws the govern civil behavior.

Boring boring boring! Man trying to be intelligent witty and individual. Failing and being nothing more than a massive waste of Poice time, my time, watcing this clip and the time of any unlucky person who happens to view this shite. He shoudve been nicked for wasting police time! Mega twat!
I, unlike he, has a life. He should go make a point thats worth making! What did he actually achieve?! Jack shit. I think he made himself look an 18 carat Dim wit. completely uninteresting. It even made me comment, which is a first.
@TheZumbach So its uninteresting yet it made you comment? If it wasent interesting then why did you comment?
To be honest, i dont like starting big debates like this over nothing. And he did achive something, we need people like him to actually ask questions like these, or else you would be the same type of people complaning in a few years about your liberties.
He has a life my friend, go back to your job and pay your taxes to the government that loves you.
@TheZumbach Your obviousily entitled to your own opinioun. But lets listen to mine. I find you ignorant to say that this man is wasting police time, when take a look at the police, what the fuck are they actually doing anyway? Your the same fucking people that complain that there isnt enough bobby's on the beat, you know why? Not because HE is wasting their time, because THEY are wasting his time 'upholding' shite laws to take away our liberties. Why arnt they out catching actually criminals?
Shouting via megaphones at a a premiere....viva la revolucion!
These views on individualism are so illogical, on the surface it seems as if these people are advocating some mild form of anarchism.
In reality they're just being very annoying and wasting police time. The officer in this video was beyond reasonable, you guys have zero respect for authority.
@Bidds12 Honestly? Your doing my nut in now the lot of you. Lol. But ill keep my anger at an all time low and talk to you like a human being.
Number one, there activists, now you've just prejudged them based on one video. These men are now very popular throughout Europe and know what there doing. Ive been a big fan of theirs and saw all their videos. There not trying to be smart, because they are smart, and know the fucking law better than those idoits in uniform. Lets step back a minute..
I don't care if you're angry. I did not pre-judge them, I judged them based on the video evidence. Why does there popularity throughout Europe correlate with their argument being correct? (as you implied)
As for your other comments I can't make heads or tails of what you're trying to say. If you think this is the appropriate medium in which to communicate the contentious issue of civil liberties then you're naive
@LibertiesVsLabour "and know the fucking law better than those idoits in uniform. Lets step back a minute.." amusing since He called section 5 public order act a breach of the peace. They are of course two separate things. For one section 5 is statute law, breach of the peace is a common law offence. Breach of the peace refers to violence against people or property section 5 is being likely to cause harassment alarm or distress through words or actions, any sign or writing in a public place.
Whilst your blaming the very people speaking out against democracy slowly fading away, its your liberties that are going out the window. The time will come in a few years were you will be looking these liberties back, but na, you wont beleive me on that one until it actually happends eh, fair enough, we shall wait and see. Because if you take a look at everyone walking in the background, not one of them
@Bidds12 Not one of them are actually speaking up against anything.
And do you see the Police harrasement they get? No, cause there is none to be seen.
You are the vey same people that claim there isnt enough bobby's on the beat and that crime is high, do you know why?
BECAUSE, the police are targeting the innocent members of the public who speak up, because there easier to charge, sure why bother trying to catch robbers and charge them when you can charge a man with a megaphone?
@Hythloday71 Because its not about pushing the cops to where the cops arrest them. They play it nice, talk to them like human beings and there always intrested to know what the police think about these things. Thats what the police are there for right. There public servants, we can ask questions all we like, why start a fight with them?
Most of what you say is apparent, but they do proffess to be sure about certain laws and advocating 'testing' the limits of free speech within the law, this is what they say...... thus it begs the question... why not truly exercise your rights if u are within the law.... I look toward them to educate me on my rights, yet when they proffess what they do, well it leaves me uncertain, And they do, or rather have proffessed to be about what i have stated, in milder moments the enphasis could b as u.
@Hythloday71 Nicely put and researched. However i beleive the free speech withen the law isnt right. We should always have the right to say what we wish, aslong as its not MAJOR. Now obv your going to say that different people count major in different terms, but these are the same people that push it too far. For example, its pushed so far that its offensive to say black board or black coffee when talking about such things, some see this as racist. This is how far its become in society.

Man, i hope something very important that effects you and/or your family some day that you have to protest, and tis people like you that will make that impossible in years to come.
DO NOT EVER STOP THESE VIDEOS!!! EVERY HUMAN BEING MUST AWAKEN AND THEN DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES IF THEY WANT TO CONTINUE TO BE CORPORATE MONETARY DEBT-SLAVES!
Charlie and Danny are great, many people just see them as troublemaking attention seekers. They talk about things that conflict with "the truth", that is programmed into the minds of the masses via the TV / mass media. Anyone who actually takes an interest in what's going on in the world that extents past the opinions and misinformation of the 9 corporations that control all TV, big news papers, radio, and a lot of the big online news sites. Look at who owns the companies that feed you news
1000Freedoms, you are appealing to the same system that would place an ASBO on you for calling these people 'asswipes' - if you were to do so in a public place.
If I worked as a Metropolitan Police and Im met with people using cameras asking me questions about enforcing the law and its statues I would assume they will or are planning to cause mayhem in the event. I would also discontinue from talking and would advise them to please not do anything silly or I will arrest them.
Well then, your assumptions (that there is a plan for mayhem) would mark you out as a misanthropist and a little bit of a cunt - but you are unlikely to get into the Met with such poor spelling, rudimentary grammar and a lack of knowledge of the law.
its their job to be against us .... is it not ? their job is to go around and try to find people to throw in jail ... thats pretty much their job description ... it defiantly isnt to protect the public from violent criminals .... they need to protect us from people with megaphones or skateboarders ..... or those devilish pot smokers poisoning our perfect world of control
lol its not smoking weed thats the problem its wat goes on behind it e.g the dealing, it dosent cause problems in everycase but it can lead to nasty instances where people get murdered, nd families can get drawn into it when they have had nothing to do with it, try to understand that there not out there to piss people of and there are problems with in the organisation whichare desperately tryig to be resolved, things have changed alot since 30 years ago
"its their job to be against us .... is it not ? their job is to go around and try to find people to throw in jail ... thats pretty much their job description"
No, it isn't. The majority of police officers didn't join to control us or be against us. Just remember that the majority of the time they are civilian with taxes and bills to pay. They go through the same shit that we all go through, they are human beings.
Their job description is to serve the public, not the government.
yeh but its still their job to go around and find people who are breaking the laws no matter what those laws may be the laws are not their fault but they cant keep hiding behind " im just doing my job thats why i tore apart that family. put the mother and father in jail took their home, car and the kids get sent to child services over pot"
he who commits the crime is as much to blame as he who gave the order
If the cop wants to protect the public he can make the choice to go investigate a murder or walk around in public looking for someone aggressive ... not someone breaking a minor law so that the cop can fill his quota. Do you honestly think these cops are trying to protect the public when they herass charlie and danny ? or how about when they arrest a kid for skateboarding ? or even if they see someone smoking a joint ... are they doing it for the public or to get their paycheck?
For your information many police forces (perhaps the majority now) no longer have quotas, so the officers gain nothing by arresting people for "minor" offences any longer, they certainly don't get paid more.
Officers are much more likely to be commended for solving more serious crimes now. Don't believe a word of what you read in the papers like the Daily Mail, they're full of rubbish. Go to your local police station and ask for a ride along if you want to know what they really do.
lol, I know some police forces have a ride along scheme and allow you to go out on patrol with them for a few hours to see them responding to emergencies.
"its still their job to go around and find people who are breaking the laws"
... that's exactly what they do.
I've never heard of families being torn apart, parents put in jail, assets taken, and children put in services over a bit of pot. I think you might be exaggerating just a little bit.
On the other hand, I personally know of a family who has been absolutely torn apart because their teenage son got addicted to cannabis. He developed schizophrenia and it's ruined their life.
L O L youtube search barry cooper ... he is a X dea agent that was talking out against the drug laws cause he did just that ... ruined peoples lives.
And did these drug laws stop this child from obtaining the weed that ruined his life ? probably made it easier ... i know from experience.. its incredibly easy for a kid to get pot. I know about 4 dealers that all go to high school and sell the drugs while they are there. Ive even bought a gram behind the teachers back in class
I don't want to get into a discussion about drug laws because it'll open a big can of worms and to be honest I don't know enough about them to comment.
I just wanted to correct you that officers no longer have those detection targets, they've been scrapped.
Search "Police 'to be freed from targets'" into google and read the BBC article, that was back in 2008.
Get a life, get a job, and stop trying so hard to be different. It's not impressive or inspirational, it's just downright embarrasing. You have no cause, you're just trying to find a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
That poor female officer. She's completely brainwashed. Even when Charlie turns her own rhetoric on its head she continues to spout the Eichmann mantra of 'I'm just doing my job.'
It's a great shame that our police are infested with such drones. At least there are many in our forces that have a conscience and will abandon their duties (I hope) when they realise the increasingly fascistic role they are playing.
As a copper for the last 29 years I agree with you completely. Low pay means drongos like this are doing a job they fantasise about, but have no skills to perform.
Have I been a perfect 'copper'. Of course not, I'm human but on the balance of things I have served the public well.
It is a great job, one I have thoroughly enjoyed and had my skills constantly challenged. Most challenges I have passed with flying colours, others I have f***ed up completely....
But many Police Officers are just doing their job. Outside of Police uniform they're just like us. They own houses, cars, pay tax, have political opinions, etc.
I don't imagine the novelty of "protecting and serving the public" lasts forever, so it does just become a job.
Police are basically a form of soldiers. They receive orders, they don't question them, they carry them out, and repeat.
Its not "their place" to question - so they do it to pay for the shopping at the end of the week.
@opethwalshy I suppose, if by completely brainwashed you mean, does not agree with my point of view. I've noticed that people used the term brainwashed to mean "does not agree with me." If I do not agree with you about something then are you brainwashed? If you're religious I could argue you were brainwashed into it. If you are an atheist I can still argue that you're brainwashed. Its an argument that doesn't really fly.
Until police are relieved of their contractual obligations to enforce corporate policy (for which they are financially rewarded over and above their normal financial remuneration with pay bonuses for achieving detection targets), they are unable to fulfil their duties as peace officers, therefore rendering their position untenable due to conflict of interest. This conflict of interest potentially renders all arrests and detentions by police for any contravention of a statute or act fraudulent.
Danny is an absolute pleasure to work with - I recommend you all write to him at "spiritualentertainer" (youtube site) and tell him he's too important, funny, and wonderful to ever stop!
Charlie, The polis mentioned you were being recorded by CCTV. Under the FOI act, can you not request the footage of you that they recorded and somehow incorporate it into a video montage?
Love the work you all do and keep it up!
Ps I hope that's Aspartame free Gum that danny is always chewing LOL!!
Laws such as the criminalisation of cannabis are ridiculous, but easily manipulated to appear positive (Tweak some data here and there, add a demented priminister who ignores scientific advice) But dragging people into paddy waggons, en masse, is something else entirely. Keep up the good work Charlie, Danny and crew.
I do believe a large majority of the police are compassionate souls. They just haven't had the rug pulled yet...and think about it. It's easier to avoid the thumbhold of british law when you believe yourself to be on that side.. It just takes a little shakeup. I believe, wholeheartedly our boys and girls in blue will uphold our human rights when/if the shit hits the fan..
@AmatoryAnima Maybe they are compassionate souls in Britain, and they are certainly well informed and articulate enough to assuage the public while still toeing the law-and-order line, which is an interesting dance to watch, but cops here in America are just not that educated in being peace officers and the majority have no interest in taking that tact. The IQ tests given at the academy show a hiring spike for 120 or below....that's the difference between British and U.S. cops, they're smarter.
The police didn't think this was strange. Infact - they condoned it and one even told me that it was a great thing. I didn't sense any kind of malevolent agenda with these people, I didn't see any fire flaring from their nostrils - they are people. I don't even think they are completely asleep..they just never had the opportunity to think outside of their box..
I recently spent some time in the local police station, my 12 year old daughter had shoplifted a couple of items - they cautioned her and took her DNA. I objected but was told "It is the law". I asked how long her DNA would be stored and they told me 100 years. Crikey. A couple of hairclips and a packet of bangles and my young daughter is being swabbed, fingerprinted and getting her mugshot taken...
Teach your fucking kids not to steal, they cost everyone, they deserve it, now they are stealing bangles, next thing you know, it will be the high street bank.
police woman must be enjoying her recent blue lodge initiation as she appears in full checkered style. the only thing seems to be missing is the UMBRELLA.
Great to see you guys back together out on the streets and the welcom to th lady that joins you for adding value to this video with some well-considered questions and remarks.
Soon i will be going about giving "conspiracy" dvds to police officers, or those who serve in government in general (which is 40% of the working public, i believe) just need to get the money together which is going to be hard in the current fiancial climate, and the fact i haven't got a full time job ;)
I love the stuff Charlie and Danny do on the streets. I am sure more than one officer must have walked away after receiving a hug and realised that connecting to fellow humans is what they should be doing not enforcing the bankers corrupt collection of taxes to fund worldwide war.
Peace to all readers. In love we shall truly see..
@Xziz10ths That blatant common sense, or "coppers nose" as it used to be called has slowly diminshed as in the last 12 years or so, more quotas have been appointed, along with cctv, form filling etc, pretty much you are not allowed to use your common sense, anymore, as the police are told what to do constantly by superiours etc, when this happens people stop thinking and just adopt the computer says attitude, this is common in alot of people today, espescially the police.
Interesting how the Police can hypothesize as to what may or may not happen and can take action on the pre determination that it will. Yet if we do the same,it is dismissed out of hand as demonstrated when the discussion moved to the detention of large groups of people for whatever reason. As usual when engaging the Police or anyone for that matter that would have undergone extensive indoctrination, their position will always require them to engage in defensive reasoning ensuring opposed views
very cool guys, i feel very comfortable with this vibe... that is, your vibe.... as for old bill bless em- not wanting to judge or generalize (dam thats a difficult ting!), Danny dissolved some of their fear by his 'being present in the moment' sweet :-D
You're wasting your time trying to reason with the police. They pick individuals with limited capacity to think for themselves then send them to police college for further brain-washing.
hell the elite must not want people to talk to cops, how else do you explain all the negative press they recieve, i mean cmon if the mass media was honest and honourable they would be reporting on far worse things are government are doing, and individuals who are truly in power.
The police have a job that in a sense takes away their energy, makes them more cynical, and detatched, as they are taught to be, this is bad for their well being...
glaxev--I was recently arrested & had a wonderful opportunity to speak with many police officers. With some I had long, very deep discussions. It is very true what you say in the last statement. I noticed that as the discussions played out, each policeman I spoke with was very jaded by his situation. He only sees the worst in humanity, all day, everyday, for many many years. It's very sad. My goal throughout the detainment was to give them an example of the best of humanity vs. their usual worst
@rockstarofredondo that was quite an uplifting post there. Yes i am quite touchy about people insulting the police, because i have had some good experiences with them and i have a close family member in the police, at the same time i understand the complexity of the situation we are all finding ourselves in nowdays, where the police can be used against the public, or in some cases already have.
At the same time the mass media are steering the public towards hating the police, for some reason...
Yeah - I don't think cops are bad at all either. We need them as a society. I have one in my family. I do think however that the corporate government take advantage of a certain personality type.
It would be much more effective if we had cops that were community appointed, rather than run by governments. If community organizations created their own "police" departments, they would be far less likely to be corrupted and they would be true public servants. They would be actual members of their village & accountable to people that they know. It's a dreamy idea because most people out there aren't open to such a thing, kind of anarchist, in a way.
..... it must be fullfilling the agenda of the elite, but regardless this is a dangerous path to go down, as we need open people's eyes of all backgrounds in this coming of an important age, espescially of those who work in government, i.e the police
As you said there job does revolve around with dealing with the negative side of society, fights, domestic abuse, stabbings etc, along with probably some subconcious understanding that there is something very wrong with the government work for.

I share her view that it would never happen because in this day and age, it simply can't, not in a country like the UK anyway.

if any member of the public is distressed or alarmed .then they have to remove themselves from the situation ,for example if you film sombody that says they dont wan t to be filmed then they have to move away from the camera .if the person with the camera follows the person and continues to film then that is causing alarm and distress ,but not people ,who shout the cameraman has to stop filing when the complainer has not removed themselves from the situation...good luck ..everything is o.k

@steelchampion Freedom of speech is only allowed if it's not breaking the law remember that! There are certain laws in this country which coincide with 'free speech' so you need to be careful on what's being said and this person would've most definiteley broke the law shouting through that microphone!

Ive been a big fan of theirs and saw all their videos. There not trying to be smart, because they are smart, and know the fucking law better than those idoits in uniform. Lets step back a minute..
LibertiesVsLabour 1 year ago
I don't care if you're angry. I did not pre-judge them, I judged them based on the video evidence. Why does there popularity throughout Europe correlate with their argument being correct? (as you implied)
As for your other comments I can't make heads or tails of what you're trying to say. If you think this is the appropriate medium in which to communicate the contentious issue of civil liberties then you're naive
Bidds12 1 year ago
@LibertiesVsLabour "and know the fucking law better than those idoits in uniform. Lets step back a minute.." amusing since He called section 5 public order act a breach of the peace. They are of course two separate things. For one section 5 is statute law, breach of the peace is a common law offence. Breach of the peace refers to violence against people or property section 5 is being likely to cause harassment alarm or distress through words or actions, any sign or writing in a public place.

@Bidds12 And actually take a look at the law.
Dont you know whats really going on here?
Whilst your blaming the very people speaking out against democracy slowly fading away, its your liberties that are going out the window. Because if you take a look at everyone walking in the background, not one of them
LibertiesVsLabour 1 year ago
@Bidds12 Not one of them are actually speaking up against anything.
And do you see the Police harrasement they get? No, cause there is none to be seen.
You are the vey same people that claim there isnt enough bobby's on the beat and that crime is high, do you know why?
BECAUSE, the police are targeting the innocent members of the public who speak up, because there easier to charge, sure why bother trying to catch robbers and charge them when you can charge a man with a megaphone?
LibertiesVsLabour 1 year ago
These guys don't really push the envolope though, if they are so sure of their rights, why don't they carry on with the Mega Phone ?
Hythloday71 2 years ago
@Hythloday71 Because its not about pushing the cops to where the cops arrest them. They play it nice, talk to them like human beings and there always intrested to know what the police think about these things. Thats what the police are there for right. There public servants, we can ask questions all we like, why start a fight with them?
LibertiesVsLabour 1 year ago
Most of what you say is apparent, but they do proffess to be sure about certain laws and advocating 'testing' the limits of free speech within the law, this is what they say...... thus it begs the question... why not truly exercise your rights if u are within the law.... I look toward them to educate me on my rights, yet when they proffess what they do, well it leaves me uncertain, And they do, or rather have proffessed to be about what i have stated, in milder moments the enphasis could b as u.
Hythloday71 1 year ago
@Hythloday71 Nicely put and researched. However i beleive the free speech withen the law isnt right. We should always have the right to say what we wish, aslong as its not MAJOR. Now obv your going to say that different people count major in different terms, but these are the same people that push it too far. For example, its pushed so far that its offensive to say black board or black coffee when talking about such things, some see this as racist. This is how far its become in society.

Zildjian285 2 years ago
yeh but its still their job to go around and find people who are breaking the laws no matter what those laws may be the laws are not their fault but they cant keep hiding behind " im just doing my job thats why i tore apart that family. put the mother and father in jail took their home, car and the kids get sent to child services over pot"
he who commits the crime is as much to blame as he who gave the order
steveo9001 2 years ago
continued:
If the cop wants to protect the public he can make the choice to go investigate a murder or walk around in public looking for someone aggressive ... not someone breaking a minor law so that the cop can fill his quota. Do you honestly think these cops are trying to protect the public when they herass charlie and danny ? or how about when they arrest a kid for skateboarding ? or even if they see someone smoking a joint ... are they doing it for the public or to get their paycheck?
steveo9001 2 years ago
For your information many police forces (perhaps the majority now) no longer have quotas, so the officers gain nothing by arresting people for "minor" offences any longer, they certainly don't get paid more.
Officers are much more likely to be commended for solving more serious crimes now. Don't believe a word of what you read in the papers like the Daily Mail, they're full of rubbish. Go to your local police station and ask for a ride along if you want to know what they really do.
Zildjian285 2 years ago
like they would just say ... sure jump in the car.
steveo9001 2 years ago

:O hmmm never heard of it ... i might end up looking into it someday
steveo9001 2 years ago
"its still their job to go around and find people who are breaking the laws"
... that's exactly what they do.
I've never heard of families being torn apart, parents put in jail, assets taken, and children put in services over a bit of pot. I think you might be exaggerating just a little bit.
On the other hand, I personally know of a family who has been absolutely torn apart because their teenage son got addicted to cannabis. He developed schizophrenia and it's ruined their life.
Zildjian285 2 years ago
L O L youtube search barry cooper ... he is a X dea agent that was talking out against the drug laws cause he did just that ... ruined peoples lives.
And did these drug laws stop this child from obtaining the weed that ruined his life ? probably made it easier ... i know from experience.. its incredibly easy for a kid to get pot. I know about 4 dealers that all go to high school and sell the drugs while they are there. Ive even bought a gram behind the teachers back in class
steveo9001 2 years ago
I don't want to get into a discussion about drug laws because it'll open a big can of worms and to be honest I don't know enough about them to comment.
I just wanted to correct you that officers no longer have those detection targets, they've been scrapped.
Search "Police 'to be freed from targets'" into google and read the BBC article, that was back in 2008.

Most challenges I have passed with flying colours, others I have f***ed up completely....
eduardoisland 2 years ago
But many Police Officers are just doing their job. Outside of Police uniform they're just like us. They own houses, cars, pay tax, have political opinions, etc.
I don't imagine the novelty of "protecting and serving the public" lasts forever, so it does just become a job.
Police are basically a form of soldiers. They receive orders, they don't question them, they carry them out, and repeat.
Its not "their place" to question - so they do it to pay for the shopping at the end of the week.
MentalicMike90 2 years ago

AmatoryAnima 2 years ago
@AmatoryAnima Maybe they are compassionate souls in Britain, and they are certainly well informed and articulate enough to assuage the public while still toeing the law-and-order line, which is an interesting dance to watch, but cops here in America are just not that educated in being peace officers and the majority have no interest in taking that tact. The IQ tests given at the academy show a hiring spike for 120 or below....that's the difference between British and U.S. cops, they're smarter.
ThePresidentialTouch 2 years ago
The police didn't think this was strange. Infact - they condoned it and one even told me that it was a great thing. I didn't sense any kind of malevolent agenda with these people, I didn't see any fire flaring from their nostrils - they are people. I don't even think they are completely asleep..they just never had the opportunity to think outside of their box..

I recently spent some time in the local police station, my 12 year old daughter had shoplifted a couple of items - they cautioned her and took her DNA. I objected but was told "It is the law". Xziz10ths 2 years ago 5
@Xziz10ths That blatant common sense, or "coppers nose" as it used to be called has slowly diminshed as in the last 12 years or so, more quotas have been appointed, along with cctv, form filling etc, pretty much you are not allowed to use your common sense, anymore, as the police are told what to do constantly by superiours etc, when this happens people stop thinking and just adopt the computer says attitude, this is common in alot of people today, espescially the police.
glaxev 2 years ago 2
... and members of the public, such as those who wish to protest, or spread the truth
glaxev 2 years ago
Interesting how the Police can hypothesize as to what may or may not happen and can take action on the pre determination that it will. Yet if we do the same,it is dismissed out of hand as demonstrated when the discussion moved to the detention of large groups of people for whatever reason. As usual when engaging the Police or anyone for that matter that would have undergone extensive indoctrination, their position will always require them to engage in defensive reasoning ensuring opposed views

hell the elite must not want people to talk to cops, how else do you explain all the negative press they recieve, i mean cmon if the mass media was honest and honourable they would be reporting on far worse things are government are doing, and individuals who are truly in power.

My goal throughout the detainment was to give them an example of the best of humanity vs. their usual worst
rockstarofredondo 2 years ago 2
@rockstarofredondo that was quite an uplifting post there. Yes i am quite touchy about people insulting the police, because i have had some good experiences with them and i have a close family member in the police, at the same time i understand the complexity of the situation we are all finding ourselves in nowdays, where the police can be used against the public, or in some cases already have.
At the same time the mass media are steering the public towards hating the police, for some reason...
glaxev 2 years ago
@Namaste1001 But yes they do tend to be left brain thinkers,
glaxev 2 years ago
Yeah - I don't think cops are bad at all either. We need them as a society. I have one in my family. I do think however that the corporate government take advantage of a certain personality type.
Namaste1001 2 years ago
It would be much more effective if we had cops that were community appointed, rather than run by governments. If community organizations created their own "police" departments, they would be far less likely to be corrupted and they would be true public servants. They would be actual members of their village & accountable to people that they know. It's a dreamy idea because most people out there aren't open to such a thing, kind of anarchist, in a way.
rockstarofredondo 2 years ago 3
very good idea
LemonyOfTheState 2 years ago
..... it must be fullfilling the agenda of the elite, but regardless this is a dangerous path to go down, as we need open people's eyes of all backgrounds in this coming of an important age, espescially of those who work in government, i.e the police
As you said there job does revolve around with dealing with the negative side of society, fights, domestic abuse, stabbings etc, along with probably some subconcious understanding that there is something very wrong with the government work for.
