  • My first was a 95 chevy corsica I bought from my grandmother in 2001. It had 19,000 miles on it, I ended up putting another 120,000 miles on her before I ended up giving it to my mother who still daily drives it. I used to drive the piss out of it and it would always start no matter what. I jumped it, off-roaded it, drifted it, and I even hydrolocked the motor once, but she didnt leave me stranded. I pulled the plugs, cranked the water out, and about 20 mins later she fired right up. Chevy4Ever.

  • 1979 F150 (sold to neighor). next 89 CRX Si. traded it for a 89 Mazda 929 (the first vehicle I drove with a driver's license). • 1994 gt mustang

  • 1991 BMW 325i convertible. That car had so much style.

  • 1978 Mercedes-Benz 300CD (turbo diesel). I loved that car soo much, it saved my life on X-mas eve of 83 when it got totaled. Would you believe it, a VW Beatle rear ended me on a 4 way stop into a oncoming car. The guy in the VW got fined for the accident.

  • 1966 VW type 3 Fastback. Daily driver and love it. Love all the comments it gets too.

  • This video is a favorite on Switzerland

  • 1979 Volvo 245 DL :<

  • My first car was a 1962 VW beetle and the first day I drove it I was flying down a dirt road and there was a hump in the road about 2 foot high and maybe 6 feet long and I went through the air and landed nose down and came damn close to rolling it end over end I was probably going about 40 mph when I hit it, that car lasted 2 years of getting beat to death.

  • 1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500! I bought it like a month ago haha

  • 2000 white Ford Transit, best car ever :)

  • 2000 Toyota Camry, bought off the old man after it hit 300 000km. Had a 3.0L V6, putting out just shy of 200hp. Clock and electronics started to go, but it had 450 000 km before I sold it, still running strong....ish.

  • My first car was a 1992 Buick Skylark Sedan Custom, I remember that it had very bad steering, my first drive back home and I almost crashed into my house, it was silver, it had a 3.4L V6, I also remember that it had a terrible leaking issue, when it rained, then it turned out that the heater coils were broken and somehow water could get in from there and into the floor, so being in Florida, the windows fogged up and it always smelled moldy, got rid of the car after the cooling system let go

  • @vovillia I had an 86 Century with simular issues. The steering would be real tight until it warmed up, then it locked up in the middle of a turn. thankfully very little damage. It also had a slight windsheild leak. so whenever it rained, I'd have water in my cupholder. Still loved it though. very tough car. Bought it for $50 in 2000. don't remember the exact mileage but i'm sure it was near 200,000 (most of my cars have been near or well above 200,000 miles).

As for me, Volvo 460 2.0 from '95 Decent car, 120 BHP and it weighs 1,020 kg. A year ago i put it in a river.. slightly, and it's still going strong. :) There are better cars, but the memories live on. =)

  • 1990 Toyota Corolla. Given it's durability, it must have been the grandfather of the Toyota Hilux.

  • my first car was a 86 nissan 300zx

  • My first car. My Dads 04 f-150. pushing 140,000 miles and stil going strong. love it (though it is a little dirty)

  • @MRCOOL2345e I've had several F series trucks. a 78 (2wd I6 F150), 79 (302 4x4 auto F150), 86 (351W V8 4x4 auto F250) and a 97 (4.6l V8 auto short box 3-door 4x4 F150. was my grandfather's that he bought new. selling it to my dad soon). the 86 F250 had over 265,000 miles on it when I sold it and still on the road today (I see it nearly everyday) being used as a plow/salt truck.

Learned to drive in a 79 F250 long bed supercab auto 400 V8 4x4 (dads).

  • 1995 Ford Fiesta Optima, with a very eager 1.1 litre fuel injected (!) engine, mighty 50 horsepower, and a cassette player I fitted myself since it had no stereo. Very good handling actually (no power steering means great control), and it was fairly quick from 0 to 60 (in kilometers...) but after that... well 'sluggish' would be a kind word. But it could do 135km/h, unless I had a passenger. A great little car, lots of fond memories. The reg plate read LGO-666 (badass!)

  • First Car- 1997 VW Jetta 2.0. We call it the JET

  • 2007 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Interceptor. Metallic gray, retired from the Munster Indiana Police Department, bought it with 69K miles, it currently has 78K miles. Still running strong and still scaring the shit out of ricers. People ask me why I still run the Crown Victoria when I've just bought an 05 E 320.. simple, the E 320 is a car, a good one...but the Crown Vic is my car. You could offer to trade me any car for it, but I wouldn't. Not for a Veyron, a Phantom or a Jag. God I love it. :)

  • I don't have a first car yet. But at videogames, it was a Fiat Panda from the 90's.

I wouldn't mind having that one. Over here, it would probably be the only affordable one. You can't even use your money to think about a Camaro over here.

  • My first car was a 1989 camaro and i still have it.

  • My first car was and still is a 1991 Cadillac Seville.

  • My first car was a 1991 bmw e34 535i (tragically i couldn't afford a manual). It had done 274,000km and the iceland green paint was all pealing off. it had a rusty muffler and therefore made a terrific sound. best of all is that i bought it without my parents knowledge. they said "you can't have a car until you're 18" i said fuck that, got $2400 AUD together and i was off. the best car for drifting i've come across to this day.

  • This is the first Youtube video I think I've seen where the comments were all about participating in the video and remembering fond memories, NOT a flame war. It's very nice for a change, I wish all videos were like this.

  • @Motorfordtoyota this would sound wierd to most people but thats gonna be my first car and i could not be any happier

  • @r3tards0fjuctic3 Youll love it, but do yourself a favor. If you plan on having higher revs, and do it yourself work, get the 22re and tune it. The 3vze v6 is a BITCH to work on and has a scetchy reliability record.

  • my first car (or project for lack of a politer word) was a ford capri 1986 1.6 laser. it was black and i paid about £75 for it because it was a shell and nothing more, no engine, no wheels and it was mine to do with it as i wished, a skecthbook with the lines at the side essentially. this was a project i raised whilst working at my uncles garage for pay and part time mcdonalds and after £1300 was spent i'd got new brakes, new shocks, new engine (from a capri again) and after 5 years it was mine!

  • My first car is a Perodua MyVi SE, 1.3, I modified with a turbo and more soudproofing^^

  • My first car was an 88 1/2 ford escort it was built from 3 different cars and I blew out the clutch in four days. It was the two door 5 speed and it was bright white the thing was a real piece. I was glad when I saw it on the tow truck being taken away.

  • @Nekrokilla I took my drivers test in a 92 Escort LX (borrowed from my uncle. my POS Mazda 929 wouldn't stay running if you just held the brake. you to hold the gas pedal a little to keep it running). suprised i fit in it a 6'2" cause i didn't years later when I tried to drive it again, by then I was 6'4".

  • My first car was a Hot Wheels, it was so lovely untill i lost it.

  • keep pressing 4 on the clip

  • I'm so angry and sad right now. I've been working on making a video response for days and got all of my recording done just to find out I'm missing the CD that would allow me to upload the videos to my computer. I'll never have it ready before the deadline now.

So glad my parents bought a $350.00+ camera just to have someone throw the program disc in the garbage (sarcasm).

  • Just posted #myfirstcar very sad story. But the good news my video is the lucky number 10 :) I hope no other first car got destroyed as much as mine. Still love my Mustang <3

  • my first car was a 1992 Acura Vigor, it was a hammy down car from my aunt it had 280k miles but ran like a bad out of hell i drove it for 2 years, it took me from Kansas to Colorado to Florida in the same year, changed the oil every 3000 miles and kept up on the maintenance, but when i got it to Florida it rained a lot and i tried drifting around a pole and the rear right tire blew out and i was two scared to tell my dad, so i drove it home and told him i ran over some roadkill.

  • My first car was a Red 1990 Honda Civic 1,3L Hatchback.

My father bought it for me 2 years ago when I was 18 years old.

I so much wanted a Honda, and just when I got my drivers license, we bought it. The car was parked for many years. So it had some major Head Gasket problems leading to serious Overheating. That did not stop it...! I drove it for 45,000 KMs untill 6 months ago, when I bought my Second Honda!

The still revs to 8K though!

I am Planning on swapping a new engine!

    I love my Honda!

  • My first car was a 1989 300zx, loved that car.

I was headed to my girlfriends house being driven by my dad; We passed by the car with a 4 sale sign; caught my eye but I didn't mention it to my dad. About 1 hour later, i got a call from my dad telling me he bought it. I was so happy as Z cars were already my passion. Having a V6 and a Z made me the happiest 1st Car owner. Everytime someone asked, Yeah i drive a Z ;). Sadly one day of overdriving it lead to engine seize. Drive a 240z now :). rip.

  • My first car was a '78 Buick Skylark with a 350 Rocket. I had the car stripped so it would be a bit lighter and faster. The fastest I have been in it was 140 MPH, with NO NOS, NO WHISKEY, and NO SUPERCHARGER! Just pure raw power. I miss it... I want it back...

  • My first car is a 1972 Volkswagen beetle. I've always had a fasination with them from a young age when I saw the Herbie movies.

I still remember the night I first saw it, I was 12 and the family and I were off to dinner for a special occasion when my mom pointed it out. It was sitting on the curb infront of a gas station with a forsale sign on it.

That was about 6 years ago, I've restored mostly everything myself, now its my daily driver. I hope I never let it go.

  • mines a 98 merc clk 320...well im 16 so yeah i still drive it obviously...great car.

  • My first car? I got a 1990 Bronco off of a friend for $1000, and still have it. Had an oil leak, fixed it. Sprung another. Fixed it. Sprung another. Didn't bother fixing it. But now everyone on the street knows the oil stain on the road is my parking spot. Oh and it rattles and makes noises like a plane taking off everytime I go on the freeway. But I do love that thing.

  • My First car was a 1990 Rover 214 With a Manual, Bought it for a couple thousand pounds back in 1995, I think it was white, and I remember it being horrible. As I was boarding my Flight to Canada, I got a call from the guy I sold it to saying that the police said was stolen in 1994.

  • my first car was a 5 speed 1987 mustang lx 4cyl 2.3L turbo. i purchased the car from a kid who lost his license. i traded him a moped and 50 bucks. i couldn't lock the car and the ignition was ripped out so i had to start it with a knife. i believe the engine and turbo was from a thunderbird turbo coupe. i had many adventures with that car, many that are on youtube for everyones enjoyment. . i would buy it back in a heartbeat. go to xXlap189Xx and watch stephen's mustang.

  • My first car was a '69 Mustang GT 351W -2V A/T. Was fun to drive but a bit slow, The Stig might have liked my road racing, on real roads. My first really cool car was 2 cars later, my '69 Olds 442 W32. It was a metallic brown that changed color in different lighting, had gold painted Hurst Olds stripes, Cragar S/S wheels, Pirelli tires. Had tall gears and a A/T shift kit, chirped the tires EVERY time it shifted at any speed. Passed a guy on the way to school at an angle when it hit some gravel.

  • this past year i bought a 1992 chevy camaro rs with 143000 miles on it and a broken tach. I drove directly to my friends house where i lit up the tires for the first time...ah i will never forget that smell of burnt rubber....or when i found out i blew a head gasket :(

  • My first car was a 1967 mustang fastback. My dad got it from a friend who crashed it. He spent every extra hour of his time to restore this car, and when I was born he also gave me the passion for classic cars like this. We fixed her up, and now she is a beauty! I glad to say that we still have her :)

  • My first car was a 1993 Chevy Cavalier. The funny story behind it was, I hated Cavaliers at the time, I wanted a Ford... but my mom surprised me by buying it for me and it turned out to be one of the most reliable cars in my family. Sure its rusted, has high miles, a cracked windshield, the ABS doesn't work, theres water leaking in the footwell, it has an exhaust leak, and its painted flat black but I love it. Cavaliers have the worst rep and I dont get it... I love mine :)

  • I got my first car in 2000 and it was a 1994 Nissan Maxima. I loved my car. I got my first speeding ticket in this car. Went to college in this car. Got stuffed in the trunk of this car.....In 2005 when I went to study abroad in Wales I sold Maxine, my first car, for $2000 cash to a kid who was going into the Navy.

  • @sunkissedone9 how did you get stuffed in the trunk

  • My first car was a 1983 Toyota Tercel. I got it from my dad and basically everything on it was broken, and my dog, Clarkson,(yes, named after Jeremy Clarkson) chewed it all up. Plus, it was a tiny tercel and I'm a big guy 290lbs 6ft 2. It did have a few perks, though; one time it died on the freeway, but it was so lightweight i just stuck my foot out the door and used it as a skateboard until I got to the next offramp. I have a nissan truck now, but sometimes I miss my four gears of fury....

  • Very FIRST car? '69 Plymouth GTX 440 "Six-Pack" V8 engine that got 10 mph but was AWESOME. Chrome furniture, olive green paintjob, black leather hardtop. One my first drag race AND out ran the hot pursuit cops in that baby. Still have it too.

  • my first car was a lego VW camper.

  • I have tried to post my 3 year old video as a response but I see youtube will not let me do this :( It wont even let me post my link to the video so idk The video is call YOUR FIRST CAR PLEASE SHARE and has 30 video responses of its own,

  • My first car was a Skoda Forman with 270.000km on the clock (about 169.000 miles). The doors and floor were so rusty they fell apart just by looking at them angrily and it almost drank more oil than petrol.

It had a 1.5 liter engine which had a consumption of about 8liters/100km if you drove like mad or if you went all granny on it. Didnt make any difference in performance also though :)

It did still get me everywhere though :)

  • A little mistake.. it was a 1.3 liter engine :))

  • ** f..k HERE!

  • *bere

  • I buy my first car last year, it's a Fiat punto evo 1.2 there in italy

  • I had a '78 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, brown with a big gold bird on the hood...saw one like it not long ago & thought it might be mine, but no it wasn't b/c it had a t-top. I loved my bird. :)

  • my first car was a 1998 ford expedition she was so reliable, i remember when i was living in north Carolina, she would go up sleeted, iced, snowed hills and roads with bold tires, she never missed a lick, if it wasn't for that truck i would have been stuck like the rest of the people, and i remember one night i was running 70MPH when i hit a deer but luckily the front bumper on the 97-98 are very strong and didn't damage it AT ALL!!! i really miss her, i couldnt afford to keep her...

  • My first car was a little red and yellow plastic one, that you wheeled around with your feet. People knew that I wasn't meant to become a driver when 1 day they were having a party upstairs and since I wouldn't get out of it they had to take it upstairs with them. I got bored of wheeling to and fro in the corridor so I took a turn to see what was around the bend. It was the stairs. After my first car (and car crash) I wound up with an excuse for my now weird character. So not all bad I guess.

  • Ich will Top Gear in Deutschland haben :(

  • My first was a 2004 Kia Spectra. It was simple A-B transport but I loved it. I got attached to it and learned every fact I could about it. I even made a TG style review of it! I kept her clean and running. It wasn't fast nor good at handling but what it lacked in performance it made up for with the stock audio system. Sadly she developed a horrifying knock and the headlamp just wouldn't fit right anymore. The car was given back to the dealer when the parents filed Bankruptcy.

  • My First car is a 2000 BMW 318is :) got it last week

  • my first car was a '91 chevy s10. garage kept, 5 speed manual, came from the factory with NO options: no radio, no a/c, i was surprised the windows even had cranks. this truck only had 63,000 miles and was17 years old, hadnt moved in over 8 years. it was previously owned by my late grandfather. i drove it for two months, and rolled it on all four sides (left, right, top, and back on the wheels). we drug it out and i drove it home, didnt drive for another three months. ive wrecked it twice since.

  • My first car was a 1993 Nissan Quest Baby Blue. Drove it in High School. Trying to get more performance out of its column shift, I accidentally slipped it into reverse and screwed up the transmission...it was never the same after that. It was built like a tank though...

  • In 1973 when I graduated college, I got $1000 to buy my 1st car. A physics professor at Harvey Mudd College had his father-in-law's car for sale for $800. It was a low mileage1965 Mustang with a 289 V8. I drove this sweet silver car with black interior up and down the southern California coast for 5 years. After being rearended by a fruit truck, I had it painted purple. I sold it in 1978 to a collector of vintage Mustangs for $1200. I regret to this day ever selling it,

  • my first car 88 jeep cherokee, my story is i bought it from my uncle 500$ took it to get inspected and it passed i start to go down the road and to myself wonder if it will paint the road black well it did I was happy with it for a week then the death wobble came basically traveling over 45 was impossible and where I live in maine pot holes are king and 4wheeling is fun i decided to try it out well let me put it this way 4wd didn't work, mid climb it got stuck and engine quit best day 4 me not!

  • My first car was a 97 Mazda 626 LX with no exhaust system, faulty shocks, but all around a nice interior. It was a storm cloud gray and a nice ride, until you got on the gravel roads. The car would shake and it sounded like you were going to just fall apart on the road. The car has a new exhaust system now but it still shakes on gravel roads and when the roads are wet.. Look out!

  • My 1st car was a hand me down from my dad back in the states. It was a 1972\3 Opel Manta. VERY faded yellow or gold [who knows] with a black hood. The drivers seat had a huge hole just perfect for left buttocks, no power steering nor brakes , you had to be in shape to drive this small car. It ran just fine without a drop of oil and it had a foot activated window wipers[very cool] . I thought i was the sh!t driving it though so its every engraved in my heart.
