  • what did you heave for eat?

  • I used powdered food for egg-layer fish fry, with spirulina. It's called Sera Micron. But you can use any food you like, if you powder it very well, for example, Tetra Reptomin or tablet food for bottom-feeder fish.

  • whoa those are the special lab raised tadpoles that look like catfish

  • Yes, that's it ...

  • hey who win a adult sea monkey vs a tadpole who would win? give me a comment reply

  • wow, cool, they realy dont look like tads until they turn straight on. what are you going to do with them all

  • I bred those tadpoles 3 or 4 years ago, there were 70, and all of them turned into little frogs. They were so funny!

I gave some of them to some friends, and I sold the rest to pet shops.

The following year I got over 400 tadpoles, but only 200 froglets ... they were so many! I sold most of them ... and I kept 8 for me ...

  • how much do the pet shops pay for them, and at what age do they breed, i have 2 albino's both are less than a month old i reckon, too young to see what sex they are.

also what is the best way to get them to mate and then look after the tads, as i would like to try myself someday after a little research.

    regards ant

  • I sold them very cheap (I had lots!), about 3$. They can breed succesfully when they are one year old (although my home-bred males mated when they were 7 months old). About one year and a half, that is the best moment, when females are fully grown.

The best way to get them to mate is to do a water change with cold water, in early spring ... as if it was the rainy season ... It's not easy, but not impossible!

  • Haha, yes, xenopus tadpoles are the most strange looking thing! They're not like most frog tadpoles, they're more like fish fry, they swim all day, don't take a rest ... and eat filtering food with their wide mouths like whale sharks ... and they have that two long barbels! They're so weird!!

  • Gauaaaaa!!!!!!!!! Al fin en Youtube, se ve que no he estado en Dr. Pez en muuuchos meses jajajajaja
