Does the Dreamcast port have the bouttique like the GC version? or just like the PC port it lacks it's key and the bouttique since you can choose the costume from the begining?

Great review. Personally I think the Dreamcast version looks quite a bit better than the port of RE3 released to the Gamecube some years back. I noticed a difference in graphics quality with the GC port of Resi 2, as well. It seems the Dreamcast editions of RE2 & 3 trump the PS1 and Gamecube versions. Dino Crisis on DC looks pretty sweet, too.

time has change I like re4 and re5 gameplay but is more action games than survival horror I miss that gore B class movies gameplay...

I know it was just a port but I still liked the Dreamcast versions. Though I admit the first time I played R.E. Code Veronica I was blown away!

The RE series are quite well executed on the DC. Quite a must have on the console I'd say.

I bought it on ebay for 15 euros a year ago. It's a fantastic game, for me much better than Resident Evil II.

The 'that's this guy' idea just popped into my head as I was writing the review.

I do think my reviews are a lot better now I've started writing scripts for them, the only problem is is that since writing scripts the reviews seem to be turning out a bit too short. After writing the review and saying everything I feel can be said about the game, it'll fill around 2 pieces of A4 paper on both sides, and it looks as though it'll make a really long review.

@RPKGameVids However, once making the videos. Even with the footage of the case added to them they are only about 5 mins long, which I think a lot of people may find too short. I'd prefer them to be around the 8 minute mark. Maybe I should start trying to go into more detail about things when writing reviews.

what i do for my dreamcast collecting is buy for some cool seller on ebay mint empty dreamcast cases and get games on the cheap that have broken cases and then replace them it has save me a fortune and add's instent value hell i got a copy of outtrigger for 9 clean it out removed black makers and change case and now i could get anywere from 20 to 30 on ebay sweet :D

I've never found any cases for that cheap on ebay on the rare occasion that I've looked, but I do remember a long time ago when I bought a DC game from a game shop, the assistant gave me a sealed spare DC case for free.

Nice review . I own this on the game cube which I think is the exact same game ie .. not sure if they updated the gfx. have you played resident evil zero ? that's pretty good . and has amazing gfx imo :D

Good review man, I never played Res 2/3. Played the 1st and didn't really like it plus had to find the item to save was annoying, same with Res Zero. But I enjoyed Res 4 when I got into it and liked it be ing 3rd person, and enjoyed the 5th one but not as scary as the 4th. Hope the next ones will be good as ever and looking forward for the 3DS game.

In Resi 2 the ink ribbon that you use to save is always in the box in the same room as the type writer. And sometimes there'll be some ink ribbon right next to the type writer as well.
