  • the the driver of the white van kill the wife and child on purpose?

  • not bad running for someone smoking 50 a day!

  • The bad guy has the best mustache EVER!

  • starring... an italian jay leno?

  • Vedo con piacere che anche all'epoca andava di moda scavalcare all'argelati.

  • Above-average chase.

  • This was the movie in which Tarantino drew on the Vincent/Jules/Pulp Fiction pairing but in this movie it was Henry Silva and Woody Strode. As for Adorf, he later regretted turning down both the roles of the Turk in the Godfather and General Mapache in The Wild Bunch.

  • Always a pleasure to watch the Super 8 version on the big screen with a few friends (runs about 30 Mins.)!!! The 8mm print features the uncut car chase!!

  • One of the best movies from Fernando Di Leo. Interesting "polizioteschi" because Canalli is a real antihero and not like Merenda or Merli who beat up everybody and win every shout out. For everybody seriously interested in the genre this is an ideal starter movie! By the way, Adorf is very acclaimed and famous actor in Germany, still working today.

  • @dottorepaulo it's true what you say...but on the other hand Merli Testi and Merenda are fascinating for different reasons...they're kind of grotesque and totally unreal characters but they somehow match the answer people wanted to violence in those years, plus they have this comicbook approach to the roles that i find interesting.

  • Grandissima...

  • Pardon, his mother was German

  • Yes, and his father was from Calabria (Italy)

  • Mario Adorf was born in Zuerich

(September 8th, 1930; his mother was Swiss and his father was Italian)

  • mario adorf is from austria

  • AWESOME, so glad to see someone posted this up! Definitely a bad-ass chase that made my jaw drop when I saw it. Just wish I could get my hands on the score by Armando. :\

  • First time I see a child being run over by a car (in a movie). It goes to show how sanitized Hollywood movies seems to be.

    Fantastic chase indeed!

  • what does it mean "B-movie"?

    Beautiful movie!

    Enjoy italian "poliziottesco" movies

  • A B-Movie is like a really low budget film. Most of them with terrible acting.

  • semplicemente la più grande scena nella storia

    del cinema italiano

  • When he's hanging on the front of the van, why not break?

  • or ram it into oncoming traffic or a wall or a parked car

  • He's a hero thus is entitled to special event manipulation powers.

  • Trovajoli er più funkadelico!

  • mario adorf is german, he was scheduled to become a member of an elite school for kids in ww2 germany, canm be read in his biography, and no, jay leno is small potatoes compared to him

  • Yes, he is german, my mistake.

  • Mario Adorf is from switzerland

  • Mario Adorf=Italy's answer to Jay Leno.

  • mitico, w the italian gangster film

  • Mitico Fernando Di Leo

  • Top notch!!
