The source of the information (VAERS) specifically warned against using it as the basis for statistical research because it was inherently biased. It's always possible that there is some effect that our diagnostic techniques aren't sensitive enough to detect, but all we can say at this point is there has been no evidence for it discovered yet.

Thimerosal has been tested on live human beings at a concentration 20,000 times higher than the average number of vaccines needed in a lifetime. No effect was detectable.

From the other numbers you cite, you don't have enough facts to come to a conclusion about his use of statistics (and neither does anyone else who hasn't read the paper - including me).

The thing is, yes there is a minuscule risk of side effects from vaccinations. But balancing that with the dangers from the diseases that ar prevented makes vaccination a no brainer.
However, wealthier people in our society feel they have the medical resources in case of illness & tend to be greedier and more selfish in general, so they have no problem exposing the rest of us to the risks that lack of vaccination represents.

I'm not a virologist or neurologist, but even I can spot errors in his work.

The odds ratios described are about what you'd expect from sampling bias when using a self-reporting system without the subjects being seen by a doctor. A website designed for people who blame vaccines for their children's autism is about the most biased sample imaginable.
No statistical link was soundly demonstrated.

Do you not think there is a grey areas in theses matters though? Child neuro dev. is so easily influenced by numerous "benign" things in it's environment (ie food die leading to ADHD).
Epigenetic changes are, as I'm sure you know, almost a continuous occurrence in dev. Whether or not a child has classic NDs, doesn't mean a child can't be mildly influenced by thim.

However, these cases represent an extreeeeeemly small percentage of those who receive any given vaccine. Cost/benefit analysis: millions of lives saved versus a very few adverse reactions. There are diff reasons why you should vaccinate yourself, like heart/vasc probs, lung and breathing probs etc. Those who are strong and healthy doesn't have to, in my opinion.
If you feel the symptoms of the flu, stay away from other people as much as possible. The same as you would do in case of ANY flu or contagion. . .

That would be scientific fraud, and would not pass peer review. It would also discredit and ruin the careers of the scientists involved.
The only scientific paper I'm aware of on the subject of vaccines and autism which did cherry-pick the data to produce a specific result is the Wakefield study which started the rumor in the first place, which nobody has ever been able to reproduce.

Unless you have figures showing a blinded study and a statistically significant correlation, your words are basically meaningless.
Also, many studies show that if you give a placebo and ask people to report any side effects, this is about the level of reports you get.

If you're talking about autism, there has never been any evidence of that happening, and there is no scientific merit in that claim.
It was proven in a court of law that the scientific claims that rumor is based on were scientific fraud. Videos of the children before they had the vaccine (when availale) always showed the signs of autism were there already.
