Yeah it is. I've gotten different cards since making this video though, two 9600GTs in SLI, though the 4870 may still be faster than the two of those.

vista concentrates on visual qualities and lags performance. The real problem is it refuses to open a old file of mine even in compatibility mode for xp or older. So I hate vista as that file was important for me.

windows vienna is same as windows 7 but I don't know which is the codename and which is the official name.

AC is godly optimized game! I personally have Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3Ghz, 4Gb DDR2 RAM (667Mhz) and Asus Magic EN8600GT (512mb DDR2) stock clocks (540Mhz core, 400Mhz memory, 1100Mhz shaders) and run fine 1440×900, 4x AA and all settings high but shadows 1/3, PostFX and VSync Off and FPS is 22~80 22 in cities most crowded places and 80 while climbing on buildings and its very playable and looks amazing, the same that when maxed out but without any shadows (i dont care about shadows too much).

what?u play crysis at the highest settings with 9400 gt?maybe...with 1 fps:))).with the 9800 gt on the highest settings at 1680x1050 u get only 12-16 fps

Yeah lol. It's not amazing, just ok. You can definately play games on it, just don't expect anything above 1280 x 800, or 1440 x 900 for most games.

Lol, the higher the resolution, the sharper your games look, and the more detail you get. If you were to play a shooting game at 640 x 480 it would probably be hard to play since things that are far away would be quite hard to see.

Lol, yeah, the 8800 GS is very nice.

Just a bit of info though, the 9600 GSO is the exact same as the 8800 GS, just with a different name. So when you're looking around, you can look for the 9600 GSO too to see if you can get a better price.

Yeah lol, it should work. But I don't think you'll be getting 60 fps with that processor though, but it'll definately be perfectly playable.

It should be absolutely perfect with CoD 4, but Crysis, I'm not so sure. My processor barely makes it with Crysis, but you can still try it. No harm in giving it a shot.

to start of with:

1.dual core doesn't mean anything, tell us the type. you know the e2xxx won't do it but the extreme e9xxx will... easily XD

2. high def audio won't determine whether you will be able to play this game or not

3. 1 GB ram doesn't say much. tell us the clock. But 1 GB no matter what ram you're using won't be enough to run this game combined with vista ultimate

4. a 450 watt psu should be enough for your setup

5. its terrabyte and vista UltEd doesn't have anything to do with that..

Ohhh, hmmm, I don't know about the processor. Mine is 2.8 GHz, and it doesn't run the game at 60 fps regardless of the resolution, and I have 2 9600GTs in SLi now. I get around 30-45 fps. So I'd say your processor would be 25-35 or something.

yes u can, i have a 2.0ghz core duo, 2gb ddr2 ram, nvidia geforce go 7400 (256mb)-laptop....and i can crank all settings to full, but with a very low resolution or vise versa...and still get around 19-30fps
