  • beast.....

  • Your form is actually pretty good bro, and it's obvious you're making gains from your lifts. I can't stand it when someone smaller and weaker tries to give advice to a big dude. I mean, it's pretty clear that you know what you are doing, otherwise you wouldn't be so yoked out. Keep pushing yourself hard and maybe one day I'll see you in a competition.....

  • he could have gone heavier if he had something harder then Avril Lavigne to listen too

  • Nice form bro...and I hate whn ppl dis on other weightlifters...just learn from other ppl and ecept what they do,if its wrong help them dont put them down

  • Any1 calling this bad form is just people afraid of lifting heavy. That's very good form, and the little swing back actually allows more lat stimulis than being fucking straight as a plank ..

  • wtf are ppl bitching about ? for that weight thats pretty good form

  • wtf dats no lat pull down terrible form

  • ANIMAL PRODUCTS FTW!!!!

  • pulldowns are what i call bitch excercises and i do on the END of my workouts

... get your ass on that chinning bar, lotta guys hate chins because they are hard

  • y'all are stupid! This dude's form is soild. While his body is used to generate force, he's not cheating persay. Just watch, his legs stay completely rooted to the ground. For comparison sake, watch any olympic rower: do you see them stay completely still when performing the rowing motion?? didn't think so

  • how much does the resistence vary by the machine, is it not by much or can it vary drastically

  • the way this machine works... you kind of have to move... its not like a regular one they have at 95% of gyms.

  • I have a youtube account. This means that I can comment on everybody's form and tell them that I know how to do it right. It also means that you are doing the exercise wrong because I know what I'm talking about

  • instead of bitching about other ppls form, go and workout at the gym

  • this guy looks like he could take many metal baseball bat hits to his upper body

  • thats a fuckin sick machine. never seen that b4

  • everyone says he has bad form because they're jealous because they can't do that much. obviously the form works for him, he's a monster

  • @MasiukA no hes an "ANIMAL" well thats what the shits says

  • @BulletspongeM3 lol true that

  • @MasiukA wait i said "shits" but i meant shirt thanks for interpreting the way i meant it lol

  • Music in there sounds gay as shit, haha i hate gym music...

  • one thing people need to realize is trainers have distorted working out. its great to be showed proper form but trainers never tell you sometimes form is a little different form person to person and sometimes different form gives different results. one way to tell if your trainer is full of shit is just by looking at them. do they look like the guy you see in this video or do they look like a skinny cross country runner? come on people use common sense

  • He has got to be kicked in this video. I do this on the behind the neck pulldown machine for the same reps. Im sure this is after all his deadlifts and tbars and shit. I'm sure he's tired.

  • wicked dirty dude, nice form no one should be complaing about that shit fo sho

  • fuckin eh dude you live up to the tshirt hahaha

  • Someone let me know...

whats the difference between a cable or a non cable lat pulldown machine?

  • Who is talking about his form? someone please tell me what was wrong with that?! NOTHING. Do you see this cat's back through his shirt? RESULTS SPEAK. He has excellent form and it's obviously paying off. If you quite before your form gives a tiny bit, then you don't push to the limit. He does, he's big. You don't, you're not. Not a hard thing to understand. Lift heavy and intense and it will beat form anytime.

  • So true man on the form.. people who talk bad on these peoples form are stuck on the baby weights.. When I do one arm rows, some people would rip me a part on my form, but in 2 weeks I can up my 'perfect form' poundage by more than those bitches can

  • I love lifting, took me FOREVER to get over people watching me though. Come to find out, a few people just came up and corrected my form on a few workouts, turned out to be great guys and helpful. Helped out alot, to bad mersa broke out. Before everyone jumps, read up on it. A buddy and me just dropped cash and got our own equipment. Turned out absolutely great and were safe. So, story moral, wash hands all the time clean machines when you leave.

  • "took me forever to get over people watchin me"......i remember being like that. Especially doing a machine that youve never used before, your sitting there just thnking man i hope i dont look like an idiot and using it the wrong way. Now that im an experienced lifter, i just go in and make sure i use good form stand straight. After a couple years, you dont care if people watch you at all especially if you lifting heavy weight.

  • yup, i used to think that to all the time. What about all teh muscle bound folks pressing what seemed to be mountains and you were pushing what seemed to be feathers? Piss you off a little? kind of ashamed?? I was big time. Couldn't even do a pull up, had to use that assist machine. Man, you find your faults real fast in a gym and learn to be humble at times to.

  • 'couldnt even do a pullup"....thats me, lol......i like using that assisted chin-up/pullup machine though, i feel it hitting my lats pretty good. My lats are pretty much my one body part thats lacking,

  • eh, it takes time. Just get a good range of work outs for it. In all reality what worked for me was pull ups. Then benches, for some reason seems to thicken your back. I may sound like an idiot but just seems to do it. Pull ups thought the best. Stick to it.

  • Then after a year, well. Found out most of the muscle bound folk were juicing up and some of them got sick. Went from pushing (if i said you wouldnt believe) so lets say alot of weight. come back in the gym and end up starting way below me. That felt good, the old fashioned power, the kind that sticks to you. Now, hell I am on a roll and love it. Still learning new tricks all the time and I bet I am older than you. So, have a blast man, its a great stress release.

  • i dont kno why i see all these comments about bad form when his form is decent and it obviously looks like hes getting results from it ?

its working for him, stop complaning

  • jelousy is all it is. Takes LONG time LONG LONG time and hard work.

  • @azsianwun lol people are actually making comments about bad form? Hes only moving back just enough so that the bar doesnt bloody hit him in the face. Damn people are stupid.

  • Dont get why he had to swing he had the weight allrdy - nice strength anyway alltho with a free lat pull-down machine it'd be bit lower

  • good form with swingin your body to help???

  • how can u even call that swinging ur body thats perfect form...ur no supposed to be stiff as a board while ur weight lifting

  • Yes you'd better be - he was swinging quite alot - it'd be more effective if he did 8 with less swinging than 12 with some cheating

  • I'd like to see you do 1 rep, with full swinging.

  • I dont think a person who weights 148 (me) can actully move 285 pound on a latpull down machine.... but with assistance i belive i could

  • look at him man, he's built like a brick shithouse.. im sure form is important, but he needs to break plateaus by hitting super heavy with less than commendable form .. its normal, or else no one would improve much

  • @muzimuzi i bet you could, lol dont mean to ramble but when i was younger i tried to pull a lot of weight but ended up doing a pull up instead. hahah damn weight didnt budge.

  • don't want to sound gay but your calves and quads are ripped as heck.

  • I wonder if that is an accurate weight with that funky machine. You could pull off the gorilla walk tho.I am the Lat Pull down champion of the Universe.

  • Can you do a 1 arm pullup?

  • haha I doubt it. Your strength per pound doesn't go up as your bodyweight goes up.

  • You act like it's impossible for anyone to do one.

  • No I act like it's extremely difficult for someone this big to do.

  • best comment ever!

  • Nice machine. My gym hasnt got one of them. I just stick to pullups to develop my lats.

  • Hey Blake, how do you like this machine compared to say, a cable version or Hammer strength lat pulldown?
