Hey I'm getting an HD PVR as well. I'm just wondering, how much quality do you lose when you go from RAW captured footage to an edited movie in vegas or something?

@sagmasta1 hey. it depends. with certain formats you can get better looking video, but in a program like vegas, the main rendering formats (wmv, mp4) looks almost exactly the same once on youtube). once on youtube it looks like theres a fair bit of compression on the videos, but thats just youtube stuffing your video up lol. im still working on trying to get best quality, but theres not too much of a loss of video quality. good choice on the HD PVR by the way

You need to put the normal NON HD SOUND CABLES IN ALSO, ( NOT THE NON HD VIDEO, BUT THE SOUNDS

hmmmm ok, well go to "settings", then "sound settings", and click on "audio output settings", then click on "HDMI", and then click on "automatic", and finish lol. if theres still no sound after that it could be because you either have an old HDMI cable that only does video and not audio, or something is wrong somewhere...

hey czeko, ive done quite a few different render settings in my videos, but for this one it was a raw. file, meaning i didnt edit it at all, it went straight up onto youtube once it was recorded. for my other videos i use sony vegas pro 8c to edit and render, and still trying to work out best settings lol, its taking a while

oh, for this video i also recorded in the maximum 13.5mb and 20.2mb peak, which cant be done anymore because of the update. i record in m2ts too...

tbh I think 720 looks better than 1080, u get better frame rate imo, same wen u recording with PVR HD, recording in 720 looks better

i recorded it using a device called a hauppauge hd pvr. i can get better quality on videos now after editing them in sony vegas, this was an original recording upload...

No, it depends on what console you have it on ps2 or ps2, i have it on ps3 and its in 1080p.

hello saif, if you have a hd tv, you will need HDMI or component cables to get the most out of your tv picture. if possible go for hdmi because they give off slightly better picture, but component cables will do a great job aswell

Hi i found out how 2 do it . but now i have to put the ps3 to a normale tv. do i have to do some setting or something cuz. when i put the ps3 in a normale tv now nothing comes :S!

oh okay lol. well if the tv doesnt have a hdmi cables input or component cables input, then you will only be able to use regular av cables, which are the red, white, and yellow cable. it will give standard definition picture quality, but thats what you'll only be able to get on a SD tv. also, if your ps3 is set to hdmi input or component input, you will have to keep the ps3 in the HD tv you have, change the inputs to regular AV cables, then save that setting. then you can put it in the normal tv

fifa 09 is quite a good game mafia, and its got trophies too to collect if thats your thing. i would probably pass on godfather 2, mafia 2 seems to look better and it will be out soon :). dont know about the kits and the clothes lol....

hello BIH, you have to record video using a HD compatiable device, or be able to render a video in HD quality. i use a hauppauge hd pvr to record my videos, it records in HD and uses component cables to do so...its a bit expensive but good

lol 2 messages of the same thing talent, ok. if it gets to big you cant surpass it i dont think, unless you could possibly lower the quality to make the file smaller. 1 of my videos i was trying to upload from F1 on ps3 was 1.06gb in size and 10.20 or so long, and it wouldnt let me upload it.....maybe theres a strict rule on how big the file is. id say either cut the video to make it under the limit, or reduce quality :)

Yup, to be honest, It looks exactly the same on both consoles, I currently have the 360 version, but I thinking of buying the PS3 version now because I borrowed my Friends version and the controller felt a little better for this kind of game than the 360 one (if only PS3 controllers felt good for shooters!) plus I want to play against my friend who owns the PS3 Version.
