Eddie's only a one time world champ in WWE, but unfortunately spent much of his career as a mid-carder. @bosnianpro1 He wasn't even at his best in WWE! That's the amazing thing! He got injured in 1998 and that's why he left WCW. The operation was botched, so he ended up with nerve damage and had to retire. He trained some guys for about 4 years, then had another operation to try to repair the damage. It worked up to a point, but he was never totally OK.
But still he was awesome. He could have been as big as Rey Mysterio if they'd pushed him properly.
here is the 411 why most japanese and mexican wrestlers dont succede in the wwe because they dont speak perfect english so they cant cut a good promo, joshi tatsu wrote a blog saying that he was getting a push thats why he won the wm battle royal but because he is still learning english he hasnt been able to move up the latter
@willos1991 I remember a time where the wrestlers ability spoke for themselves. When a wrestler couldn't cut a promo they paired him/her with a manager who can cut great promos! Their are ways around it and I think a big problem with the WWE is that they rely too heavily on promos, and story writing. Back in the day the really good wrestlers improvised both on the microphone and in the ring and it would lead to the type of excitement and crowd reaction that the WWE can only dream about today!

@bosnianpro1 He wasn't even at his best in WWE! That's the amazing thing! He got injured in 1998 and that's why he left WCW. The operation was botched, so he ended up with nerve damage and had to retire. He trained some guys for about 4 years, then had another operation to try to repair the damage. It worked up to a point, but he was never totally OK.
But still he was awesome. He could have been as big as Rey Mysterio if they'd pushed him properly.

here is the 411 why most japanese and mexican wrestlers dont succede in the wwe because they dont speak perfect english so they cant cut a good promo, joshi tatsu wrote a blog saying that he was getting a push thats why he won the wm battle royal but because he is still learning english he hasnt been able to move up the latter

@willos1991 I remember a time where the wrestlers ability spoke for themselves. When a wrestler couldn't cut a promo they paired him/her with a manager who can cut great promos! Their are ways around it and I think a big problem with the WWE is that they rely too heavily on promos, and story writing. Back in the day the really good wrestlers improvised both on the microphone and in the ring and it would lead to the type of excitement and crowd reaction that the WWE can only dream about today!

@dsefton88 wwe USED to know how to use talent , bringing younger guys up and making them have interesting feuds to get over with the audience and then title matches , where as all wcw used to do was make the same guys champions e.g hulk hogan , the audience began to get bored with the same guys winning , so more people started to watch raw , the good thing about the low/mid carders in wcw was when they had a match , they got a bigger pop than the main eventers did , because its whats wanted to c

I know really , Dragon should have been cruiserweight champ in wwe at least one or twice . proves wwe doesnt know what to do with the cruiserweigfhts which is probally why the cruiserweight divison is no longer in the wwe . Can you imagine Dragon and Tajiri in TNA in the X division . Dragon and Tajiri would be cool for an unlitmate X match in TNA sometime .

If we got more of this kind of wrestling I doubt thered be so many complaints. The high flying lucha libre wrestling is awesome and fun to watch. The crowd would go crazy with so many flips and counters etc

We don't see nor will we see great wrestling like this in WWE anymore! They should've pushed Ultimo the way they did with Rey. Glad Eddie got his push. He had a great career. So had Ultimo! Today's WWE wrestlers won't build a catalogue of great matches like these guys did! That's right all you Miz, Swagger, Cena, Batista, Orton, Sheamus n McIntyre fanboys.
