@iPanda15 erm...you do know that Apple since 20th July 2011 do not sell these laptops to the general public, only to educational institutes. The only laptop which is the ENTRY level to any one is the 11" MBA. You could get this laptop (white macbook) from other retailers, but its pretty old, and outdated you may want to get either the MBA or a 13" MacBook Pro...sorry to disappoint you lol..

@DRBUK their is that but it is still a fully functional machine, mine is running on the Core 2 Duo 2.2ghz 6gb ram with a sad and lion 10.7.2 and it runs fine, no slow performance or lag. Only thing you can't do is play modern mac games, run Final Cut X and prob a few other video editors but big deal as iMovie 11 works just fine

Heck yeah man! I got my Black one seven days before the new ones came out, and I was just fine with that. I love the new design of Uni-Body MacBook(s) but I think the White/Black MacBooks are some of the best laptops out there. Mine's 2.4 Ghz, 4GB DDR2, 250GBHD and I absolutely love it! I find myself using it more then my 17' MacBook Pro sometimes!

You will be breaking the Apple EULA in doing so though, and you *may* encounter some compatability issues.

2. Stable for Laptop Mobile DJs

3. compact, portable

4. RAM upgrade to 4 GIG...save money if you use thrid party rams

Cons:

1. No Right Click on their built in mouse pad

2. Expect to pay extra for their external adaptor for video out, Firewire adaptor, etc.

3. Video output doesn't work in Windows OS

4. Mac Video Editing software not the most user friendly. You have to do jumping jacks.

Why do you need to pay extra for those adapters? It's got firewire and video out. Unless you want vga. Which most monitors now have options. video output does work on windows os and video editing is easy on a mac. So wheres the cons for your list?
