Great great movie, I watched it around 1996, before Kitano was popular in Europe/USA. Well, I guess it was because on the front page of the VHS they put "the man who influenced Tarantino" :)

Simply one of the best films by Kitano Takeshi.
Yakuzas that became Kids just by starring at the sea with nothing to do.
A excelent film. Maybe better than Hana-bi.
Also great score By Joe Hisaishi, this music of this trailler is very dark amd very violent
Takeshi Kitano is the absolute genious of film-making.
