Great video! I understand the DL-11 has to less power to project without a smoke machine, is this the same for the DL-33? I'm planned to get one, do I need a DMX controller as well? Are there any other things I need to take into account? Thanks

what is the single one you have? a 50mw? I got a Dl-11 today off ebay,, its on its way.. and i was wondering does it work ok without a smoke machine or you you sorta need one... Could u put up a short video when your not using a smoke machine? thanks

I let it run in sound active mode it has a tunnel pattern in there somewhere but the others are worth the vewing nb I have now replaced the faulty diode myself shinp sent one out pretty fast

My DL-33 just arrived today. I have put it through the ringer here in the house and no issues. It is an AMAZING device. Highly recommend it.

The only issue I noticed was that the shipping box was damaged, and I am concerned about the abuse it took to get to the US from China. If I purchase another I will get insurance to be safe.

Oh~ the variance license required is a MAJOR hastle to do through the FDA website, but it IS doable.

i have this dual laser - one of them is now not working inside only after 10 plays really however it is just an unscrewable diode easily replaced hopefully amonstar will tell me just to send back the diode for an exchange under warranty but we will see if not there are 50mw diodes for sell for £29 even with a pcb on ebay :)

It is obvious there are ways around the FDA Variance, I mean, they have these things all over the place, and DJs in the US have them without this license...

You can try and find a European company that is willing to sell you one without the required USA variance license. Some will sell you the parts but wont put it together. The reason they are illegal is cause the US is gay and is afraid people are gonna hurt themselves. Stupid really because with the laser beam moving so quickly it makes the power not as bad for the eyes. When you see videos of lasers in Europe they generally allow the beam to hit the audience. Just some info i have gathered
