Did this in science class when learning about Newton's Laws of Motion (this is the first law of motion:objects at rest stay at rest). It's like the remove the cloth from the table without moving a dish or glass trick. The coin wants to stay at rest and when you swiftly hit the card out from underneath the friction is not that great, so the coin stays in place and falls in the bottle from gravity. (wow i sound like a science teacher....)
