Can you do all your frames on Photoshop then export them on flash to animate them?Because flash does not have smooth body movements,unless everything is drawn frame by frame.

Actually been very good to have the line tool, timeline tools, tweening and moviclip/graphic in photoshop. Would have been a very powerfull animation workspace for high quality projects.

yeap but, the diference between Ps and flash is that flash its a program based on vectors and Ps its based on pixels, you cant have the same tools because pixels works in a very diferent way =) there is a progam called TVP animation its special to animate with pixels, i have been working with it and its very cool, animating with pixels allows you to detail your drawings very well but the problem is that u have to work like if you r doing classical animation =p

actually pen tool (shape) is also vectors so you can already use vectors in photoshop. And its only the fantasy that sets the limit.

i know that but is still based to work with pixels, at the end u razterize the shape or use it as a small object.

the point is that it wouldnt be a fusion of these two programs having actually after effects, Ps and flash. ^^

and u are right ur imagination sets the limit of ur creations no doubt for that ! no matter what tools u use =D

you can do it on photoshop - get the image up and all the layers (each frame) hide all but the first layer/frame (ill call this the frayer for short) go to WINDOW - ANIMATION and place first frayer on animation window. then click duplicate layer in the animation window and click the eye on and show the second frayer, then duplicate layer again in animation panel and show the third frayer then duplicate and show fourth frayer and so forth... then hit PLAY in animation panel and VOILA

yeah, i drew the pics on paper and then scanned 'em. it was a little more tedious than i'd imagined it would have been. but it turned out all right.
