hi! I bought a bassman like yours and I have a question...what does the ground control on the back do? On my bassman is setted on the center position, but there's also left and right position. What could happen if i touch the switch? Will it explode? Help me please! :)
Yes they do sound excellent. I actually still have it. Vintage fender bassman 50 for sale for $800.00 with cabinet. I have a 60's vibroverb now for my electric. It is much less bulky for travel but is still ballsy. I really want a Taylor 414 cutaway acoustic. I will consider a trade. Takers?
they are huge. Not as heavy as they look though. I bought a '73 bassman 50 but only took the head because the cabinet was just too big. Wish I had a younger back and a bigger vehicle because those old matched cabinets sure sound great.
get a small 4 ohm 2 12 cab for it. it'll growl

@mcortelazzo Lol you won't explode silly person, but you might get shocked a little if it's not set in the right position.

@SotR59 The cab size is the reason that I'm probably going to make a 2x10. I'm going to try to get a Bassman head from ebay once I sell my amp.
