@ringatink a skin colour doesnt change the amount of soul they have. my schools doing the wiz and its an all white cast. im not sure why they chose it, but they did. I guess its more about how you rehearse it

@OfTheLove It just makes sense for, and im not trying to be racist or mean or anything, the whites to perform the Wizard of Oz b/c all you see is white ppl in that movie and blacks should perform the Wiz b/c that's all you see in that movie. And I wasn't looking up singers, I was looking for a specific song from the Wiz and clicked on the wrong video.

The singing is fine, however The Wiz is just not for a white cast (by the way I am white). I have been in theater all my life and I have never seen a white cast that could pull off The Wiz. Nice voices though

@mrmom32us I actually like her version more than the original and I'm black. I'm playing Addaperle and I based my rendition on her version. The director actually liked it ten times better.
