... Reason 5; Plot was straight forward and easy to understand in D.I while G.O.W seemed to put more effort in texture and gameplay (which was good) but lacked in a good plot.
Finally Reason 6; Although Satan was easy to beat, his boss fight was far more epic, well expected and entertaining than Persefonie who shows up out of nowhere, frustraiting to beat and absolutly unsaticefying after beating her.

Well, comparisons are inevitable since they are so damn fucking alike: boss battles, press button sequences, hell theme, bloodier slash enemies hack type of game...But what can't happen is exactly what you are saying. The hype around GodOfWar is too damn high, and to Dante's Inferno it was just "oh, ok, let's play this". I played GodOfWar, its good, but it's not a 10 game like everybody is rating. Here in Brazil, rated 10. Dante rated 8,0.
@TheGamerClubber Also, I thought GoW3 was a 10 in my opinion, but i have to say, I think I actually played Dante's Inferno more. Tomorrow the long awaited DLC comes out! The Trials of St. Lucia!
I completely agree with what you say. It wasn't that bad, it was just really similar to God of War. That doesn't make it bad. I mean, if the game industry and its critics were that harsh to Dante's Inferno, why do sequels get such high reviews? Isn't Modern Warfare 2 EXACTLY the same thing as MW1? Oh, but that gets game of year of awards.
@LeoPirate Exactly my point. And you know whatelse is funny? My friend just got a PS3 and asked to borrow some of my games. I loaned him one and he gave it back in a week. Then I loaned him Dante's inferno and he keeps begging for more time to beat it again! And he already beat it TWICE. Hmmm... guess the game is FUN.
Superb game I certainly like 2:14 I managed to get this game online for my ps3 for free at 115 games . c o m They have the current PS3 games there to pick from but the best thing is they are all totally free awesome game and website

I haven't played it much, Mainly because I like to complete a game before moving onto another game, and im busy playing another game. But after watching your review makes me want to put the disc in and hop on my couch and play this game. Yeah all the reviews ive read or seen made my expectation on this game to be an average game. But now im all hyped up.
Sweet. Hope you like it. I had a blast with it and I still love it. It's my kind of game. Hopefully it is for you too. A lot of people didn't like Fraud. But to me it was fun so, to each his own.
Hey what difficulty have you finished it on? im playing hellish and i cant even beat death! ive tried 20-30 times and i can only get his health half way....
I beat it first on Zealot, leveled up everything, then played through a second time on Hellish and beat the crap out of everyone LOL. I loaned it to a friend so I still need to get it back to play the DLC level they just released and also beat it on inferno mode. The problem really with Death is that you need to make sure you block his attacks on time or you will die.
yeah i don't know, i never tried to beat him on Hellish. All I know is you gotta really know his patterns to block well. I never tried Classic, that seems like it would be just too easy.
Beware there is a glitch in Greed if you haven't heard already. They may have fixed it but I want to warn you. DO NOT go backwards in Greed to save the game. You will see a soul that is hard to reach and some try to go backwards to save the game after reaching her. DO NOT do this, this messes up the game. Just keep going forward til you get to the next save point, even if you keep dying in the puzzle room after it. This glitch can make u have to start the game over. Make multiple save states.
LOL i didn't think about that. My buddy has Bayonetta and keeps telling me how fucking epic it is. Don't get me wrong I liked the demo, but I don't wanna pay $60 for it. I'm waiting for it to go down in price.
I may do a separate rant on the flaws of Dante's inferno so they improve for the sequel. Such as the glitch in Greed, that's really killing the game for some people.
yeah man, i just loaned it to my friend begrudgingly and he gave me his Prototype. Man I'm so bored with Prototype now and I want my Dante's Inferno back! LOL I love that game it was fun as hell to me. But rent it first. Make sure it's something you like. To me it was as fun all the way through as it was when I played the demo. Now God of War it ain't. But fun as hell it is. And yes it can be frustrating but in a good way to me.

... Reason 1; most different enimys are not just recycled in color so you get a larger veriety of enimies.
Reason 2; 11 stages (including intro and arrival) as oppose to 3 even though gameplay is the same runtime.
Reason 3; stage 2 in G.O.W had too much puzzles.
Reason 4; More bosses in D.I...
