Hi! The guy in the green shirt is fishing with the fishing pole eyelets facing up. The other guy fishes with the fishing pole eyeletes facing down. Do you know which is the correct way to fish? Thanks! Jack

@BEEP338 They are both correct. The reason for this is, the guy in the green is using a conventional reel, so the guides of the rod face up. The other guy is using a spinning reel. Rods for spinning reels are designed different... they are 2 totalt different types of reels

and also..for conventional reels..the eyelet or guide/ring are normally small in size..while a spinning reel rod..it starts from a big 1 at the bottom..easy 2 spot the difference..which is for spinning..which is for conventional reel..

the guy further from the camera... in the first hook up, he failed to set his jig into the fish (by a series of quick jerks of the rod) , thats why i think he lost the fish later on.
