@KentuckyKuntryklub yup 2-stroke, even my friend got a vespa, on the papers it says it's 50cc, but it's actually 80cc. does 63mph on the tomtom. (yeah, 4-stroke lol :p). But my scooter has 13" tires, it's not a problem when going that hard with those tires, only when you need to brake fast at that speed it's going to be a problem. :p
This is a awsome scoot i borrowed my freinds for a week and it was bad ass. It was nice not haveing a carberated engine. Its quite and efficient for daily use. I Give it 2 tumbs way up this bike rocks!
cool scooter i still like my ruckus more tho because u can mod it with more stuff, nothing wrong with it tho. i cant believe u can fit all that stuff in it!!
ha it was a bad day for me... the river was flooded so the salt water flowed over to the private lake so it was pretty soft and slippy on the water... pretty strange! but third is better than fouth or below! :-P
Ice cooler on wheels lol. This is not such a great scoot. There are better scoots out their that will transport you safely from point A to B... Drum brakes!? what a joke.
Fuck Vespas!!! You'd BETTER gety drum brakes with the price tag of those son of a' bitches. For the price of a 250cc Vespa you could get a decent used car!!! Overpriced bullshit with a big fucking name. Fuck Vespa!
And if it is restricted at the revs like a 2 stroke scooter that will do little difference as it comes back to the CVT adjustment, which is working at its peak with the max restricted revs.
This bike will definately not keep up with a 125, my advice would be to get a 2 stroke scooter whilst you still can.
To hell with 2 strokes they make nasty smoke and sound like a constant revving fart!! Yeah they have more torque and power but they don't last NEAR as long as a 4 stroke because they rely on thinned out oil in the gas to lubricate their engines. And 2 strokes aren't fuel injected to run smooth in colder temps.
There are Fuel injected Mopeds's, made by Aprilia and Gilera and they can go up to 186 mile's on one tank of fuel. And unlike carbed 2 strokes, they're environmentally friendly.
Thats cool. But I chose the C3 because not only is it one of the best 4 stroke 50cc's out there but I chose it because I am short and it was the only one I could ride and reach the ground at stop lights.. I'd rather have a motorcycle at this point anyhow. Like maybe the suzuki S40.
The C3 is a higher tech 4 stroke 49cc, it has fuel injection it's liquid cooled and it has more storage capacity than any other scooter in it's class. One would expect all those features on a arrogant person's overpriced Vespa 49cc. Yamaha is quality but there is a difference between Yamaha and Vespa the Yamaha is HUMBLE quality! Vespa's are for snobs who want a fashion statement on wheels when they go to sip their cappacino.
My Yamaha C3 goes 45mph STOCK. Besides there are upgrades from KS Power an MRP dealer that can get this 49cc to 50mph WITHOUT even modding the engine. Just some CVT alterations and a performance exhaust. It improves the takeoff power and obviously top speed so it's like a having a bigger engine out of the tiny 4 stroke. If they were to get an RPM de- limiter plus fuel controller the C3 could keep up with 125cc. The C3 50cc is superior.
You won't get a performance exhaust for this scooter for the simple reason that they are not made, and even if they were there is no market for it on this kind of bike!
The CVT for this scooter is built in specification with the engine, its a balance between speed and fuel consumption, so adjusting it will make that ratio way out of proportion.
Yes the exhaust is made it;s just not in stock right now. MRP makes an exhaust for this scooter. Also KS Power is working on a new ECU/rev limiter that you can program to run just how you want it to, that way I could mod my air intake. No it couldn't really quite keep up with a 125 but it could get damn close. Hell I'm already going over 45mph.
good luck with that mush... 34 seconds to get 40 mph fuck me dead chavvy. That is the sort of acceleration which makes u zone out causin u to hit a tree or sum shit.

4 stroke engines don't work in 50cc class, shove a 2 stroke engine in there and will be more fun, good looking little scooter.

Despite being the ugliest scooter ive got to admit its can haul and has tons of storage space

my only complaint is how it has alot of storage space but is laid out very weird. i cant fit a helmet in it.

If they had that bike in the dominican republic, they would put a family of 5 on it with enough room for the family dog

I love the style. Give it an even larger storage bin and a passenger seat and maybe a little more power and it would be perfect.
It is the Scion XB (the original, not the craptastic new one)of scooters.
