@clockwork624 the engine isnt small at all actually, it just looks small. do you want them to put a boat engine on it or something? would that suit you better?
Im sure the neighbors are saying...Ohh, great....another stupid loud yellow truck hauling ass up and down our street at all hours of the day an night.
@rangaman86 dude fuck nitrous. all it does is make the fuel burn faster and run hirgher rpms slowly killing the engine life and you dont need it in a mud truck anyways
i know that engine aint exactly small but as soon as i saw it i was like where is the engine lol and the radiator but i saw a comment explaining that haha
@Rewster86 when the radiator is in back there is lots of cool air versus lots of hot air, also twin fans are mounted to radiators to give proper cfm through the fins..
@josephthespeeddemon I know they use that arrangement on trophy trucks, but that's just to prevent debris from damaging the fins and puncturing the tubes. If you're in motion, all the air comes from in front of the truck, not from the engine compartment. The air in front of the truck is just as cool (if not cooler) than the air behind the truck. That's why cold air intakes are usually under the headlight assembly. I suspect the builder just didn't want to make the mounts to fit.
I know it's an s-10 I've built a couple v8 s-10's with my friends but the placement of the motor is half way under the truck....I guess I've never built a mud truck, mainly street apps.

I can't imagine that you would get very good airflow to the radiator if it's behind the cab. That'd be an interesting setup to see.
