if you struggled from doing that phone book from where ever your from which obviously is a very small town... try doing a Houston phone book and you will never get it done.
@yngwieisking Well yngwiesking you will see I DO rip a big phone book in the additional videos. This is a HOW TO video to teach the basics, not show off. You can watch me rip a big book in the linked video. Thanks for the comment though.
I tried this and failed. Then my wife slapped me and told me it doesnt work with online phone books..........she also wants me to buy her another laptop
That's awesome Markiejr837! Glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was cool when I learned it and wanted to pass it along. People are going to think you are deceptively strong now! Did you show your family? What did they say?
Actually, if you are going to rip it completely in half, a fair amount of strength is required. After you have started it, then you have to have sufficient power to finish it off. Obviously, if the book is thicker, then it will take more muscle to finish ripping it. I tried a Greater Chicago phone book once and it was a real chore. Getting it started was the easy part. I find the best way to complete the tear is to grasp the book from inside the tear once it is started. Then pull it apart.
You would know how to peal a banana no disrespect I mean...
