they have improved drematicly they start first pull or start with electric start even faster!!! and they idle for as long as you put fuel in and there are new inproved engine now out there from OS PICCO TRX (traxxas racing engine) HPI and lots more!!! since 02 there have been lodes of inprovements =)

year but 95% of the time electric cars work you just put the battery in and go (how boring is that!!!) also when you run out of charge you have a long wait for the battery to charge (where is the fun in that?). but nitro there are things to do and cheak like putting the fuel in, primeing it, putting in your glow plug wormer, put in your starter (if you need to) and start it every time. then you hear the loud sound of your nitro engine!!! also you have to tune it which is fun!!! and then your off

@TheRevo33 true, idk, theres advantages and disadvantages to both. I had nitro for about 6 months, then went back to Electric, i found nitro annoying with constantly having to play with the idle, and worrying if it was too lean or any of that. That was back in 02, so maybe they improved since then.. have they? I havent even played with my electric's either lately; i do competition rifle shooting for the NRA, so have been busy w/that. Any updated info you can give me would be great!

@TheRevo33 You take an average brushless rc car vs an average nitro rc car, and the electric will eat it! Btw, the world's fastest RC car record is held by an ELECTRIC rc car!

@TheRevo33 37 sec i love that truck and i prefer electric due to the fact you have a better learning experience when it comes to electronics but then i like that same fact with nitro i just hate that it cost more to do nitro and not all his rc cars are slow the radio shack truck is indeed fast for a cheap kids rc car.

Wow that was a realy nice looking Super Clodbuster. And the black foot looked like it was in great shape too. If you ever plan to sell it please let me know. I pay top dollar for original Clods, Juggernauts, super clods and txt trucks. If yours is all original minus maybe a good radio and better than stock esc, and the body is in perfect shape I could probly get you $500 for it. Nice collection thats for sure.

@abdbaseball12 Thanks, i absolutely love that buggy! When i first got it, i took it to the track and with the stock stinger20t motor, i was hanging with RC10's that had stock racing motor's in them! I actually havent ran my rc's in a while, but am getting some new battery packs and going to start again!

@m1shadow My collection is around 30 rc cars and trucks, majority of them are scale crawlers and trucks from tamiya, traxxas, hpi, axial, and duratrax. Most of them come from Tamiya and a few are custom made.

yeah me and my cousin put our cars through hel and back, i had that semi about as big as the Clod in your video. he had the red arrow and we played tag with them.

once he hit me and ripped off a wheel. i just popped it back on and continued on. it was big enough for a small kid to ride on which i did on several occasions. i really miss it. if i could find another one i would snag it up
