  • My Mini 14 has never failed to eject any kind of round I've put trough it, and I use cheap Russian steel case Brown Bear ammo all the time. I've heard this stove pipe problem tends to happen a lot with after market mags, but who knows shooters should always be ready for the unexpected. Thanks for the advice though!!!

  • Very reliable, rugged. Glad to see these programs on the Mini14!

  • The newer Mini-14s actually do have a side ejecting port, They fling that brass like it's no body's business. I have never seen a mini or any garand style rifle jam like that before. I know it's pretty common with AR style rifles because they have a pretty weak ejector which is almost totally encased in the upper receiver. it's too bad the military didn't adopt the mini; it beats the crap out of the AR in terms of reliability and low maintenance, plus the new ones are just as accurate.
