I was to Peenemünde this last summer, and I had a blast visiting the old power plant and such. I remember passing by a bombed out building too - definately WWII damage.
The building you past on the way to the harbour was the oxygen factory. It was stripped and blown up in 1948 by the russians. So actually no WW2 damage!

Yes, the Stone has remained. :) Unfortunately, fighting with History is one of Russians' kind of sport.

Reinhold took us into P7 in 2002. Great guy, was perfect guide. So sorry to hear of his passing. -
