i was traveling using eurail tickets so location in vienna was very good as it was just close to the hauptbahnhof (main railway station) - the berlin location was not that bad either - it was near alexander platz - about five minutes walk - i went to munich before vienna but never stayed at their munich hostel cuz i didn't know it existed then - but thanks for the hospitality and if i ever come back i'll be booking in :D - oh and i did get my drinks in the berlin hostel bar - good atmosphere

the best part was that since i couldnt' get my free drinks i wanted to return the drink tickets and the guy said i could use them when i came back - then i asked if he could book me into their berlin hostel - he called booked me in and told me to use my free drink ticket there - he also stamped a card for me and said if i show it at berlin i get free breakfast - i did that in berlin and it was exactly as he had said

Wombat's is a brilliant chain - i first went to one in vienna - the staff was extra nice - they gave me so a map and so much little interesting stuff and two tickets for free drinks at the bar - also i wanted to go to a concert and the girl quickly printed out a map - so that was cool - the breakfast was cheap - it was only 3.50 euro - though there were no pancakes :(
