It's interesting how ppl think they know what's best from a dead man? how do u know he doesn't want someone rapping on it?.. is that not apart of the essence and gift we call sound? maaaaan ppl, i think if u;r a true fan one couldn't help but want to be apart of JDilla sound, so it can grow and evolve like everything/ opinion. . . give love in all forms --- respect must be upheld but any true fan would do so anyway & if not then the ppl that listen will be educated in due time, one can only hope
@gurgaling He wouldnt have givin the world his beautiful instrumentals if he didnt want people to express how they feel, like he does in his beats R.I.P Jay Dee
I think everyone should be able to use his beats, incredible artists and terrible ones alike. Let his music grow, let everyone hear and listen to it. I don't think Dilla "wanted" anything other than for people to enjoy his dope ass music!
dudes gone u dead wrong'im gon ride ova his rythem thats how u give em' hon-er how u gwan big em' up like he bigga than god da Father- thats my nigga hes hard but put in things in da proper-contex'a dilla beat keep them lycs popin' inspiration more than often' gets respect u just scared u cant reach da stature of phrophets J'D' livs on thru these beats that rain down heat lik a comet'hes restin in a better place'while we alive we'll still ride 4heavons knowledge dillas da reala'is my logic-
As a true Dilla Head, I have come to the conclusion that the ONLY way to truly honor him, is that NO ONE rap on top of his tracks. J Dilla is immortal as is ALL his beats. There is not one single artist that is worthy of rhyming on top of this or any other track. May his beats speak the live he once lived, and the legend that lives forever.. James Dewitt Yancey lives on..

@GAK3674 I doubt that's how Dilla would have wanted it...

@GAK3674 I think it'd be better put if no WACK "hip hop" artists use his instrumentals.
