Personally I thought the idea of the film was an interesting one, though definitely not for kids any younger than about 12 or so. I thought Culkin potrayed a budding psycho quite well. Critic says 'what kids talk like that...' err well...psychos do. Thats the point. They are devoid of empathy or sympathy and can be very practically minded. You read about psychos like Fritz Harmann or Henry Lee Lucas they all experiment on animals first then move on to people their own age.
