Portable Visual Display technology is not pointless. I have read about portable visual displays that are like having your own personal cinema screen. They would be awesome when you are bored on the train, are gaming and want something MUCH bigger than a gameboy screen. They would be very good to watch a movie with, late at night, in your own bed I think. Very comfy. :)
I think if I fell asleep I might break my *very* expensive goggles. I've already broken a few headphones the same way. (Luckily those only cost me between $5 and $15.)
