Listen at the 4:05 mark, the official responds "that's it?" & Ice retorts "that's it". It's as if the ref was playing & talking trash to his opponent! He didn't say shit to Pete! I wonder why? That ref should've kept his mouth shut, he may have thrown Ice off with that little exchange!

So, he may have tried to fix this one and he may have done some coercion, before this match because Pete had ratings appeal and the NBA didn't like ABA players particularly when Lawrence O'Brien was commish. He made sure that they didn't shine on TV even though they were kicking butt. George's team, the next year, lost on a bad call to the Bullets.
