  • Incredible lecture mashAllah... Absolutely brilliant.

  • is the sheikh referinf to almotasim alabasi at the start of the lecture?

  • Where is khaild latif from?

  • @calberkeley01 He is a son of Adam.

  • Thank you so much for this :) It means so much to finally hear someone speak positively towards women, especially within our own community... Ameen

  • A lot comes from the cultural baggage the middle eastern people bring to America. A lot racism, and cultural crap they bring.

  • you're awesome bro <3 <3

  • brother Khalid, this is AMAZING !!!!!!

  • <3

  • this had me in tears. may Allah bless you brother for your khutba. i only wish my father can hear what you say and enter it in his heart. Some men all they think that their job is to pay for school or buy things but forget the nature of women need emotional support and comfort and acceptance as important people in the family.

  • May Allah bless this brother and may Allah touch the hearts of all who view this.

  • Hijab or No Hijab, both sexes MUST practice modesty. It is about time Muslim men realize that they are just as accountable as women to uphold honour in society. Enough of that nonsense rhetoric about women being a source of temptation for men. If a man is governed by his animalistic tendencies, then he ONLY his himself to blame.

Jazak Allah kheir brother Kalid Latif.

  • Subhan'Allah, he says something I have never heard someone honestly say...

"because knowledge becomes empowering and when you have a question about when someone is treating you a certain way, and they are the one who are in possession of that knowledge base, AND THEY CAN INTERPRET IT IN ANY MANNER THEY WANT TOO and you don't know religiously whether they are wrong or right, you will get stuck in the place you are in." mash'Allah, may he continue to speak truth for us woman!

  • This brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful and true.

  • It's tough being a girl. Especially when your village buries you up the waist and throws rocks at your head because you went outside alone.

    That's just tough.

We should get that in America.

  • may allah reward his efforts but i disagree with the notion that hijab doesnt define morality if a sister is without hijab she is committing a sin and there is no justification to it other than the fact that she is selling her morals short for the sake of beautifying herself

  • @aybaybay8423 Somethings in Islam is harder for others. Sometimes people are simply suffering from a lack of courage, not knowledge. Try to encourage each other, show you're strength and lead by example

  • Why is there no audio?

  • DERP! FAIL!

  • JAZAKALLAH KHAIR!!!!!

  • mashAllah I really like what he said about Hijab, I dont think brothers realize how hard it is for us females to wear it..may Allah guide us all to what is right.

  • I wish there were more real men

  • im still trying to learn arabic and can understand [parts of the begining of the khutbah can someone please brak it down shukran!!!

  • @jhonmickens Asalaamualaikum I dont know exactly all of what he is saying but he is basically making DUA before he starts..All Sheiks do that before teaching knowledge....from what I know it basically asking for God help in order to teach you the Haqq in the best way possible..If Im wrong Im sorry and may Allah forgive me.. Ameen..Thats the only way I know how to explain it.

  • @ladollfacevita shukran ukhti!!!

  • Asalamu alikum

I LOVED this lecture! I wish more people, both Muslims and non-Muslims, would listen to this. Great piece of motivation and will definetely look up more lectures by him. May Allah reward you brother Khalid Latif for spreading such a powerful and true message across.

  • mashallah may Allah bless you for such words...an inspiring khutbah...

its sad there are few men who share your views about knowledge, behavior and all other matters you dealt with.

i completely agree, women have access to every type of knowledge but to deen, we often face closed doors.

may Allah help you spread your worda further.

  • Mashallah This brothers got wisdom beyond his years. May Allah reward him in this world and the next.

  • Masha'Allah, excellent speech

  • mashaAllah.

  • MashAllah this is an amazing speech and should be heard by all Muslims.

  • Salamu Alaikum, i can't hear a thing from this video. I know there is nothing wrong with my speakers because i can hear other videos on youtube. Can you please fix the sound? I really want to listen to this khutbah. JazakaAllah kul khair

  • but i do agree..the pursuit of seeking knowledge is obligatory on every muslim regardless male or female..and Allah says the believers who fear Allah the most are the knowledgable..women should take aysha RA as one of their role models who was a great scholar..may Allah have mecry on her..

  • brother, what u said abt women not being able to meet and sit with the scholars because of their gender..

may Allah forgive us but the scholars themselves feared fitnah..the prophet warned every men abt the fitnah of women and this should be pondered..we cant considered the interaction of both genders as normal when a hadith says that the third is the devil..Allahumushtha'an

  • MashAllah very beautiful!:) thanks for sharing

    Alhamidillah

  • Thank you for this message, brother.

  • Brilliant mashAllah! May Allah swt reward you for your effort dear brother. Jazakallahkair & barak Allahu fik.

  • this has a poetic vibe to it I am spellbound...

  • Absolutely beautiful MashAllah, he's covered an important topic Jazakalah for the upload brother/sister.

  • Brother Khalid, some men in our community are plainly ABUSIVE and stuck on CONTROL AND POWER ISSUES OVER WOMEN, it is NOT a theological/religious issue. Simply stating to women, "if you go out and learn it for yourself, no one can tell you otherwise" is a gross oversimplification of our community. Please refer women to social services and possibly the police if they tell you they are being abused.

  • People who judge Islam ,, thats the real one !

    the real Islam

  • Great talk, jazakAllaahu khayran.

  • ‎"Because knowledge becomes empowering, and when you have a question about why someone is treating you a certain way, and they're the ones who are in possession of that knowledge base, and they can interpret it in whatever manner they want to, and you don't know whether religiously they are right or they are wrong, you're gonna get stuck in the place you are in."

  • Amazing, mashAllah!

  • Mashallah ... he is right sisters we need to arm ourselcves with ilm of this religion, this is the means of atttaining real empowerment / honour !

  • Mash'Allah, this is incredible. This khutbah should be heard everywhere, in every masjid, not only in the US but world-wide. For it is our women who teach the next generation and who make it possible for us to be who we are. They are as clothes to us and we should be the same to them.
