  • i LOVE how seriously this lady is talking about it

  • the close up. is when the lady pushes the paw. fake but cute.

  • @coolvidsrule Why would you say that? You have no actual grounds.

  • fake!!

  • That looks like a robot... Im a cat fan, but the really close up, and the bad camera leave bad impresion of this video.

  • is this why my cat looks jealous when I put on make-up? I'll have to get her some paint and see.

  • that's not a real cat, nontheless I love the idea cats can really paint.

  • cat have been know to paint since chinese and Eypit times

  • such a sophisticated artist.

  • doesn't look fake at all..especially the paw..

  • This is CRAZY.

  • this is shenanigans! i think this cat is either robotic or on catnip

  • i can't believe some would waste their time making lie about this. they trick people by the type of cinematography they use. They cut in like it is part of a documentary. the cat is obviously a fake cat or fake paw.

  • People will believe anything

  • bloody new zealanders. This is what happens when all you have is weed and sheep....and cats obviously!

  • Amazing.. this is the Breed I breed myself:)

    The Sacred Cat of Burma=Birman...

ARTISTIC, these paintings are so much in my taste too!!!

  • Why Cats paint easily ranks as one of the greatest literary classics of all time

  • this is fake. look at the paw and the camera angle

  • obviously it's faked. the cat isn't really painting.

  • omg, what a stupid cat!!!!

  • nope, that was a stupid human.

  • I think it was both, actually.

  • My landlord is the woman who wrote that book.

  • Wow, Emma Thompson has a cat that paints!! Thats cooler than all her movies put together!

  • On the one hand it seems like the cat is painting from a far. On the other hand the up-close looks like someone is guiding the paw off camera.

  • i actually have the book "why cats paint." apparently you notice if they want to paint by looking at the marks they make in the litter. i don't know if i believe it but the book is very interesting.

  • fake cat paw is fake.

  • a fake fake? is that a real one then?

  • Aw, you didn't get it.

  • How do you teach a cat to paint? Do they have to start as kittens?

  • Afraid not- if they are painters, they have it in them.

  • I wasn't trying to be flip. I actually would like to know. I am thinking about getting a kitten. I am a creative person and would love to inspire my kitten to also be able to express him/herself through painting.

  • I wasn't trying to be crass. You can't teach a kitten to paint- if you set up the stuff, and they want to do it, they'll do it. You can even try dipping their paw in paint, most cats will not like it, and try to lick it off.

Try it! Theres no harm (wait till the kitten is well settled at yoru place first)

But don't set your hopes to high on a painting kitty, love any kitty. You see, the best part about my painting kitty is not that he paints, but that he is my kitty.

  • Thank you for the reply. Wise words. I'll follow your advice.

  • omg XD
