Im about to buy it, but can you please tell if its capable of reading .pdf files perfectly? what emulators can support this phone, and is very difficult to control the game input using the virtual keys? also can you please tell me should I buy it or its there some better phone for this price range? @gecko77z Hello! Yes, you can open .pdf files easily with QuickOffice. Input in games is okay, as it has multi touch support.

For its price range, I find it the best phone (light, sturdy, high res), better than HTC at this price.

Thanks for such a smooth, professional review. Using my present phone, on a daily basis, I enter many thoughts, ideas etc etc in my calendar. Later, say I wanted to find the deal on Red Bull which I entered back in July, I would just click Windows Start button, then Search and enter "Red Bull." The phone would then search "globally" through my calendar, contacts, everything and then display all the finds.

Is that something the ACE can do as that's really important to me.

@concernedhamish Thank you for the compliment! :) I just looked at the built-in apps. There's a widget "Search" (with a Google logo) which searches through your contacts and apps. I tried looking for a song, but that doesn't work. Then again, I'm sure there should be an app out on the Market that can do exactly what you like. Try searching for it there before buying the Ace.

@robinokal13 Hei! I haven't found a way on how to change it to the original Android, but I think you'll need to use a custom ROM. Honestly, I would like to see how it would look like on my phone :p But... it's actually not really needed once you work with it.

@groupXonline i know how to change it now, go to android market, install something called "GO launcher", then you install all themes you want from the android market, then just search "Android GO launcher" and it'll be some themes shown in that page, then just find the one and look for something called android GO launcher.

@daric1991 It indeed only has 278 RAM. On Froyo (standard on this phone) you won't get lag, but I just upgraded to Gingerbread which uses more RAM and I think it would lag there if you use too many intensive apps at the same time. Thanks for commenting!

@vardaan111 Hello! The phone should definitely 'updatable', but not on an official way. I'm very sure Samsung will release the 2.3.3 update by the summer (which isn't that far away anymore). I'm using this for over a week now and it never lagged at all. The processor is 800 MHz by the way :)
