  • Good luck oscato

  • Thank you for your time, I have decided to make a set and by looking at your video I think I can do so. I appreciate your time and your work. Scot

  • My workshop is in Centre France, sorry I don't have a video of threading a tenon, this is my little secret. But I will give a clue, you need to adapt either a manual or mechanical threading device.

  • @h0rt0n1848 OK, I understand and I have used old style manual cutters and routers to make threads on straight dowels, but I get stuck on how to make then with a thread all the way up to the shoulder. This would be something very helpful for me whan making wooden bolts too. You can post the video and make it just private viewing for me if you would be willing to help me and not post to the whole world. THX I'm in the hills of PA in USA.

  • Also, do you have a video of how to thread the tenon? I'd like to see that.

    Where is your workshop?

  • Mr Ebenist where did you get the fingers you use for depth of cut? If you build them could I get the plans. Thank you for the information and the new idea for turning.

  • @oscoto Sorry for taking so long to respond. I found these sizing fingers about 12 of 14 years ago at Craft Supplies UK. I just checked on their site, but couldn't find them, but you could make your own enquiries. Or make your own, their is nothing special about them and its a simple concept.

  • My pleasure, glad you found it helpful.

  • Very informative - thanks for the effort
