I'm Canadian, and I can tell you David Fromm who is also Canadian is full of BS. I don't know why CNN continues to give him such a prominate platform in this GOP primary. He will say anything to stop Ron Paul's nomination.

Ron Paul wants to end the lobbying and corporatism that has corrupted American politics. David Frum is a member of the board of directors for the lobbyist group RJC. In 2005, Frum founded and served as chairman of another lobbyist group, Americans for Better Justice. Why is this left wing Canadian jackass, with dual-citizenship, trying to influence the outcome of Justice nominations and Republican elections? i am definitely no fan of david frum, but on this point he is absolutely right. ron paul is an idiot and has no understanding of modern economics. it's pretty rare that someone actually gets called out like this on tv... and i thought it was pretty awesome

He wants to LEGALIZE competing currencies, meaning you'll have fiat money + gold backed money + silver backed money so if someone loses confidence in one monetary system there isn't a monopoly on the monetary supply

Frum IS a Keynesian, but again what would you know?. It's easy to parrot when you can't think.

@rmechler Keynes published his theories of economic interventionism in 1936. Hardly modern or successful. The amount of debt that's been dumped on US taxpayers proves it!
