yeah thats a powerglide, notice how the other car took him off the line and then got smoked toward the end of the race, the powerglide has a slower 1st gear then say a turbo 400 but once you hit 2nd your gear ratio is still rigged for picking up quick speed. i love the powerglide just need to have enough gearing in the rear end like say 4.11 gears and this type of setup rocks. I hate running a setup with a 1.00 top gear like a th 350 or th 400 aint got no juice left once you hit the last gear.

is this a powerglide trans? thats a 2speed auto right? im not sure but my grandfather did a lot of racing with autos and he talks about them a lot
