I don't watch much anime. I've only seen Bleach, DBZ, One Piece, and Naruto. One of my friends however, is an otaku, and gave me a list of anime I should watch, this being one. So far it's good, but that Mark guy is boring. He's just your generic love interest with no personality or redeeming quality whatsoever. I do hope he gets more interesting as the show progresses.

If u look on Wikipedia you'll see that dren/kish is a guy. At that moment when Zoey says got dised by a girl she is trying to change the subject. I hope this helped for anyone who was wondering!

Dren / Kisshu sounds much better in Japanese. Mark / Aoyama also sounds better in Japanese

He's a boy. And, believe it or not, is voice by a man in the English dub. In fact it's the same guy who does Wesley's voice. I guess he made him sound girly so those two wouldn't sound alike.

The transformations only take a second to happen. The sequences are just for show for the viewer. There are some episodes that show them transforming instantly(although it was edited out and replaced with the sequences most times in the English dub).
