It's incredible how one can sound like a professional blues player with only 9 licks combined together. No surprise there's so much cheaters out there.
@weblabmaroc All guitarists are cheaters and thieves.. We all steal and cheat from each other. Do you have any licks to share? Maybe I will watch some of your vids ,transcribe them and "steal" them! Thanks in advance!
@bigdaddystratman Hey, I'm just trying to help call a spade a spade minor, just so people who heard her say key of G and are trying to play in that key rather than Gm.
I can't believe a guy thought you made up all these licks. lmao....some people don't have a clue.besides, I think I would rather have a chic teach me licks...because they sure would know about them. lmao...Just joking. take care and thanks for the lesson
However, I found it quite interesting the concept of combining licks together in different ways.
It never occurred to me before, but SRV did play that way.
Almost like the uniqueness and randomized creativity of a collage image as opposed to a drawing.
Different licks having different amounts of notes would force strange and unique rhythms and resolve phrasings in unique ways and at times where one would not ordinarily resolve a phrase.
@2bornot2b1984 I doubt he played this way consciously, it obviously gets pretty boring fairly quickly and doesn't follow the chord changes too well, though does sound pretty cool on a superficial level
Could we have some updated HD vids?

She sounds good just by knowing a handful of blues licks. BTW she's not "cheating".

you said key of G but I believe you mean Gm. Your playing F and Bb which are not in G. :)
