Comedy Central always does that, when a joke is made about a minority the camera cuts to that minority in the audiance. It's their way of letting overly PC white people know it's ok to laugh.

Though in this instance it doesn't really make sense because the song isn't about a black girl, just a big girl. I guess they couldn't find one of those in the audiance though.

Haha, it's funny how much he had to change in that song since it's on television. I would've gone with a song that doesn't need two people to sing correctly. That song is nothing unless it has Teich! But Lynch still pulls it off quite nice.
