guys i just thought of something , in this game sonic collect those fire balls to fill the energy bar right? and since every fire ball he touch go into him and nowhere to be seen , i can only think that they go into the flame on his chest , which will kill sonic if it burn out , so if the energy bar depleted wouldn't that kill sonic too ? lol

I actually liked this level it was really fun at times it offered a lot of unique things and once you upgrade Sonic it's even more fun I never got the chance though plus I haven't played this for a long time I still was okay with this though fun at times and maybe the controls were stiff at times but It was still good I hated the chase at the start though... the music is awesome

@WikiSorcerer Unlike with Evil Foundry, this was based on a Sinbad story where he and his crew come across an island with giant lizards, if I remember correctly. Sonic Team apparently interpreted those giant lizards as dinosaurs here.

What I like about the game: Interesting story (its called an alternate universe guys), very creative worlds, fantastic music, heck I didn't even mind the chattering between Sonic and Shahra, made the game feel lively. I liked Shahra.

What I didn't like: the controls, Thats the only thing that kills it, At the very least they should've put in a nunchuck option. The running on rails thing was a good idea since it kept you on your toes. But they really dropped the ball keeping it to the Wiimote.

good story, and cutscenes, my only complaint was the control scheme but after getting past that this game was very exceptional instead of the cancelled Wii port of Sonic 06

@luciphoenix of All the fayries and company that Link (whoever him was) had, Navi was the best, seriosuly. Tatl was very rude and childish, the red king of dragons worthless, perhaps my favorite is Midna (I really love her), but Navy is in a close second place :D

At least Navi has some helpful things to say and she enables Link to lock onto enimies. Shahra's advice isn't helpful at all and she doesn't help Sonic in battle. Heck even Princess Elise enabled Sonic to walk across Quicksand and Water.

Really, before you criticize any Sonic game, check this one, I'm so mad that I bought this game. I'm getting secret rings for Wii cos it really is much much better.

Ironically for me Sonic the Hedgehog on X360 is the worst Sonic game, yet gets the best song "His world".

Oh, and I can't wait to get my hands on Sonic Colors X3

@OzaruVejit I've had no problems with the controls (or camera) and the game barely ever glitches up. Sometimes springs or dash launchers throw Sonic to the wrong place, which is annoying. He's fallen through the floor once in the dozens of times I've played it in the last 8 months since I started. I think it has the best story.

I have played this game, and I still didn't like it. I think Shahra is the worst character they've ever used. But, Sonic Colors is going to be fun. Bad story, but fun.

@Jarrecko Would you believe the game gets EASIER to control as you play? You're given upgrades that make life a lot easier, like increased Homing Attack range and better turning. I thought the controls were terrible at first too, but it started to pick up past Levitated Ruin.

I gave up with this game very quickly. I don't know why, might have been a glitch, but Sonic was incredibly slow moving (especially in this level where the dinosaurs had already caught up with him before I even started), the only levels open were those survival ones (despite people saying the boss should've turned up by the point I was at) and the gauge was virtually non-existent.

@GiratinaofFury No, that's really how the game is like at the beginning. It only picks up once you reach Levitated Ruin and you get your first speed upgrade. Your Soul Gauge also increases in size as Sonic levels up.

@DASHANE19 You will get your first speed increase around Levitated Ruin. There will be more speed increases through the game. The last one allows Sonic to run way faster than this, but it drains his Rings.

Ah, okay. That's a technique called the Bubble Jump. By doing the Homing Attack when Sonic is up against a wall, he goes over it instead.

God, god, oh god, the new sonic voices are terrible. There so fucking terrible. They had good voice actors all around for SA 1 & 2, why did they fire the rest off when ONE of them dies. I mean these actors make the 4kid ones sound like they knew what they were doing when they didn't and I honestly thought the 4kids actors were the absolute worse sonic team could hire. Just good god these new guys are so bad.

These ARE the 4Kids voice actors. They were hired as a block contract for a few years. The current voice actor for Eggman could not be hired unless SEGA hires the rest of the Sonic X cast.

That being said, I really like Bella Hudson's performance in this game.

Nah, not really. Shahra refers to springs that sometimes flip around and become spikes.

Yep, even after one speed upgrade, Sonic will lose the triceratopses after about five second. After two speed upgrades, he loses them right away.
