I'm an old dude...I first saw KISS in this video on ABCs In Concert weekend programming. I was so enthralled with this band...they were so different. I immediately became a fan - they were taboo. I first saw them in concert December 1975. It was the most amazing show I ever saw. Unfortunately, KISS became so commercialized and, in my opinion, they neglected the fanbase that made them.

,but i wanted to see them SO BAD in makeup(seen em, just not maked up) so then they put it back on and were coming to my city in concert . the origanal 4. i waited in line got tickets got my girlfriend(now my wife) drunk and sick spent the show outside. caught moments of the music when some-one opened a door. lol its all good

@RitaP215 I guess you forget that Gene and Paul are jewy jews, they steal the show regardless if they're doing good or not...mainly Gene, but Paul isn't completely innocent of greed, and because of their selfishness they'll never make it into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame, what a shame because their 70's stuff is absolutely phenomenal...Rock and Roll Over was such an amazing album

Kiss Firehouse is indeed the best song ever.

I'd put it up against any kind of Death Metal, Speed Metal, Fast Metal, Slow Metal, Hot Metal, Cold Metal, Brissely Metal, Warm and Fuzzy Metal, Ozzy Metal, Fozzie Metal, In Metal, Out Metal, Thrash Metal, Trash Metal, Dick Metal, Pussy Metal

and

Buckethead.

@bguy75 The first Kiss album was an excellent rock and roll album and certainly Kiss' best by far.

I like some of their music very sparingly following that album. Maybe one or two songs per album.

Kiss really isn't a good band but surely that first album was a knockout

@toptoplop I saw this TV show, and it blew me away. I went out and immediately bought the first album. We saw KISS open for the New York Dolls in October of 1974 in Toronto. They stole the show.
