Watched KTVU all the time back east back when I had Primestar. First class news operation back then, and still is to this day. Sad to hear about Dennis Richmond's retirement, but he's earned it and wish him all the best.
Loved their graphics and especially the end of the 10 o'clock news with the (I'm guessing) CGI of San Francisco.

Where did the announcer Ron Boltz did his work from. Did he do his VO work from La or SF

Ron actually flew up from LA a couple of days a week--worked a few days at KTLA, then spent a few days at KTVU. Really nice guy.
