@smell8182 I dont't correct you. Green Day's age of punk is over, i think since American Idiot, but don't judge a band you don't know, or just for one song( "21 Guns", well this is their only pop song)!!!
yeah i was there, but to be honost, it felt like it was just that song, this song doesnt get to me like all there other stuff tho, i mean, every other song, pride, where the streets have no name, with or without you, they were like fucking unreal to hear live, not to mention they played KITE !! which they hadnt played at a concert since elevation tour slane casle !! (the go home DVD)
so yeah, i think it was just this song. i can understand why americans would take this song to heart.
"Most overrated band in history" ? "Crappy remake song" ?. You guys are lost in the fucking space. At least give some reasons of why you think that. It's so easy to criticize, Isn't it?
I don't where they are overratec, i think it's a matter of your own preferences because i wouldn't tell that to a band that sells out crowds everywhere and just put on one heck of a show to thousands of fans...
Even if it was Tre Cool playing it would have sounded the same because the version Tre Cool Played was recorded with both drummers drumming at the same time.
Cool video..Thanks for the posting..We has seats in the eastern stand and took a video of 'where the streets have no name' it's a great memory of an amazing concert.
Very cool, especially for those of us in the States who will have to wait to see it live! I like it a lot with just U2 but you can hear/see how having two bands makes it an even richer song. I am sure they'll be playing with this arrangement -- maybe add some more vocals from Edge to make it a little more textural. Congrats to you who got to see it.
Thanks for posting this! I was at the concert on Tuesday and it ROCKED! Let's hope that it's not another 8 1/2 years before the boys tour Australia again.
Way better without Green Day. Probably because Armstrong's crappy singing voice is absent..

ryancarthy12 6 months ago
@ryancarthy12 Green Day will not be around in ten years. The bands that come out today do not even come close to bands of the 70s and 80s.

@smell8182 green day were founded in 1987. Dont' talk about anything you dont know!

I'm probably gonna get grilled by the U2 fans for this but I think Billie Joe Armstrong is a way better singer for this song than Bono.
