I did say that it was a bad thing. Mass immigration is very different from controlled immigration. Increasing our population is not a bad thing. As long as we plan for it and improve infrastructure, our country could happily support 75 million, and yours probably 30 million, in the next 50 years.

In terms of food consumption, yes well the world's population is going to need to be slowed down at some point, but our countries are not full to the brim. There will always be new, more efficient ways to make food. Grain grows faster and bigger than it used to.
